Scientists and students of KSUAE took an active part in the International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2022

From September 21 to September 24, 2022, the International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2022 was held at the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Center. The forum was organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main goal of the forum is to form an annual platform for scientific, technical and commercial communication between developers and users of digital transformation technologies, products and services. The events within the framework of the forum are aimed at solving the problems of the country's scientific and technical sovereignty, including the development of domestic software, technological leadership, data protection and the training of highly qualified specialists. More than 11,500 people participated in 143 program events in 10 key thematic areas and 4 partner conferences. 222 organizations and companies took part in the exhibition, held as part of the Kazan Digital Week 2022 International Forum. About 650 speakers made presentations, master classes and discussions.

As part of the stand of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development, an exposition of KSUAE was organized, which presented the implemented projects of the university in the field of digitalization: 1) “Digitalization in the road transport complex” (Vice-Rector for Research, Head of the Department of Roads, Bridges and Tunnels E.A. Vdovin, Head of the Department of Digital Road Technologies L.F. Mavliev); 2) "Digital twin of engineering systems based on BIM-technologies and CFD-modeling (on the example of REC "Systems" of KSUAU)" (Professor of the Department of Heat Power, Gas Supply and Ventilation A.M. Ziganshin); 2) "Scientific and technical support for the restoration, reconstruction, and adaptation of objects of historical and cultural heritage using digital technologies" (Head of the Department of Building Technologies R.A. Ibragimov, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies in Construction A.Kh. Ashrapov, assistant Department of Technologies of Building Production I.Kh. Galiev); 3) "Information technologies in construction" (Director of the Institute of Construction S.V. Stepanov, Head of the Department of Metal Structures and Testing of Structures A.V. Isaev).

The new Academic and Research center "Development" opened at KSUAE

The term development is growth, improvement, etc. Today, this term has firmly entered our lives, and the word development denotes entrepreneurial activity in the field of real estate, associated with the construction of new facilities, the reconstruction and restructuring of existing ones. The new Center appeared on the basis of the Institute of Economics and Construction Industry Management of our University.

There are different sections at the Center: "Investments", "Management", "Expertise", equipped with the relevant equipment, visual stands, developments made in cooperation with business partners.

KSUAE took part in the Panel session on information technologies

On September 21-24, 2022, Kazan EXPO hosted the KazanDigitalWeek 2022 International Forum, which became a platform for scientific, technical and commercial communication between developers and users of digital transformation technologies, products and services. Representatives of KSUAE - Associate Professor Krainov D.V. and head of the Transport sytems department Ashrapov A.Kh. – visited stands of KSUAE partners and discussed new challenges and trends in the field of information modeling.

At the site of the DigitalSkills championship in the nomination "Information Modeling in Construction", teachers of KSUAE supported the teams of participants and experts from KSUAE, talked with BIM-expert, head of BIM-ON (BIMON) Odegov Sergey (Nizhny Novgorod). Further Ashrapov A.Kh. and Krainov D.V. took part in the Panel session on the topic "Digital technologies in the public administration of the construction industry. As a result the resolution was adopted that specified also the creation on the basis of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering of a regional scientific and practical educational, advisory and coordination center for the development and implementation of innovative methods for using information modeling technologies in construction.

KSUAE held the Panel session "Information technologies in the construction and road transport industry" within the framework of "Kazan Digital Week"

On September 22, 2022, at the Center “Roads”, within the the international forum “Kazan Digital Week 2022”, the Institute of Transport Structures of KSUAE organized a Panel session on the topic “Information technologies in the construction and road transport industry”, in the area of “Intelligent transport systems”. The Panel session was attended by representatives of public and private organizations of the road industry of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The work of the Panel session was organized using telecommunications, broadcast on the Internet on the YouTube channel of the Kazan Digital Week forum and the possibility of online viewing of the speakers' speeches by all users. The speakers' reports were devoted to setting and solving digitalization tasks in the road industry, including when performing surveys, designing, modeling and quality control of transport infrastructure facilities. At the end of the event, the participants of the Panel session noted the professional level of the speakers' reports on topical issues.
