Representatives of educational organizations of the People's Republic of China visited KSUAE

On August 15, 2023, representatives of educational organizations of the People's Republic of China paid a friendly visit to KSUAE. The guests were met by the Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov.

During the visit, the guests visited the scientific and educational centers of KSUAE, discussed issues of further cooperation in education, scientific activities, and the development of cultural ties.

On the eve of the International Forum "ROSTOKI: Russia and China - mutually beneficial cooperation", which will be held in Kazan on September 7-8, 2023, the meeting has gained relevance and will lay the foundation for new international cooperation.

Teachers of KSUAE completed an internship at HAUS in Aydin (Türkiye)

Teachers of KSUAE - Head of the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS) Runar Abitov, Senior Lecturer of the WSS Department Lilia Khisameeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages Ruslan Abitov, Post-graduate student of the Department of WSS Ramis Alimov - from August 1 to 10, completed an internship at HAUS in Aydin (Turkey).

The internship became possible thanks to the program of grants of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan "Algarysh".

During the training, the experience of using decanter centrifuges for dewatering sewage sludge and turboblowers for aeration systems of biological treatment plants was studied.

The topics of the internship were focused on the application of modern technologies for the treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater and the treatment of sludge formed during the purification process, namely: • design standards for sludge treatment facilities and turbo blowers for aeration systems; • production of sludge treatment plants and turboblowers; • Experience in operating HAUS equipment at wastewater treatment plants in Izmir (Turkey).

We look forward to further successful international cooperation!

KSUAE student Daria Smolyagina took 1st place in the VII All-Russian competition "TEAM LEADERS 2022/23"

On August 4, the Ministry of Construction of Russia presented awards to the finalists of the All-Russian open competition with international participation "TEAM LEADERS 2022/23". The winners and prize-winners received award figurines and diplomas.

Student of the Institute of Architecture and Design, together with the teachers of the Design Department R.R. Khafizov, K.O. Mkhitaryan, A.F. Ibragimova and I.K. Elkhani prepared and presented the project "Design of a large-span structure".

Daria's work took 1st place in the nomination "Student design projects using information modeling technology". In this nomination 12 works were presented throughout Russia.

"Futuristic volumes, large-span structures, towers, innovative spaces were proposed as a competitive project by a student of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Daria Smolyagina." - this is how the winning project from KSUAE was described on the competition website.
