KSUAE hosted a master-class on the benefits of designing with digital services from EVRAZ

On April 4, 2024, the KSUAE Digital center hosted a master-class for the metallurgical company EVRAZ, “Convenience, speed and efficiency of design using digital services” for design engineers.

Participants got acquainted with digital services and tools for designing buildings and structures made of metal, learned about new opportunities and trends in design, got acquainted with technical solutions that allow you to quickly and accurately calculate the necessary parameters during design, as well as EVRAZ digital services that help create projects more efficiently and quickly.

The following issues were discussed: - EVRAZ STEEL ecosystem services for the steel construction market; - How the EVRAZ STEEL ENGINEERING service will specifically help the designer; - Optimization of design solutions; - Experience in designing the frame of an industrial building with heavy-duty overhead cranes; - From signing the contract to delivery of the frame; - Regulatory and technical documentation in the field of steel construction; - Reducing the metal and capital intensity of the steel frame based on effective solutions.

After the masterclass, a short excursion to the KSUAE centers was organized for the participants.

Water supply and Drainage:KSUAE students are the best in Russia!

On April 3, 2024, the final round of the All-Russian Olympiad on water supply and sanitation among bachelors and masters was held at Volgograd State Technical University. The winners of the regional rounds of the Olympiad from all over Russia took part in it.

The KSUAE student team, significantly ahead of strong rivals from 12 finalist universities, took FIRST PLACE in individual and team competitions.

Victories at the Olympiads indirectly reflect the overall high level of student training at our university.

KSUAE international students of the Russian language preparatory course visited the Museums of Kazan

On April 2, 2024, international students visited the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Gallery of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Students from Algeria, Turkey, Tunisia, Yemen, Mauritania, Ecuador, Cameroon and Chad got acquainted with the permanent exhibitions of the Museum of Fine Arts: monuments of ancient Russian icon painting of the 16th century, works of European engraving of the 15th-17th centuries and painting of the 16th-18th centuries, with masters of Russian painting of the 18th-19th centuries (F.S. Rokotov, I.K. Aivazovsky, I.I. Levitan, V.A. Serov, I.E. Repin, I.I. Shishkin).

Many students learned the names and saw the works of famous Russian artists for the first time and were impressed by the art of creating landscapes, still lifes and portraits of historical figures.

At the Gallery of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Tatarstan, students visited four exhibitions: the impressive exhibition “Century of the Avant-Garde” with works by Russian avant-garde artists; exhibition “Solomon Yudovin. Siege graphics" from the collection of Evgeny and Yulia Gerasimov, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Leningrad; colorful Exhibition “Zurab Tsereteli. The genius of modern times. Painting, graphics, sculptures" and Andrey Artis' photo exhibition "Black and White Tatarstan".

The students were very pleased with the variety of exhibitions and expositions presented, shared their vivid impressions with the teachers and asked questions during the excursion, while simultaneously strengthening their vocabulary and learning new Russian words.

#Priority2030: Rector R.K. Nizamov presented to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science the development program for KSUAE

On March 29, 2024, Rector of KSUAE Rashit Nizamov presented at a meeting of the commission of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science a draft development program for the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering.

The Priority 2030 program will allow concentrating resources to ensure the contribution of Russian universities to achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030, increasing the scientific and educational potential of universities and scientific organizations, as well as ensuring the participation of higher education institutions in socio-economic development subjects of the Russian Federation. The goal of the Priority 2030 program is to create more than 100 progressive modern universities in Russia by 2030 - centers of scientific, technological and socio-economic development of the country.
