Professors of KSUAE became finalists of the II All-Russian competition "Leaders of the construction industry 2022"

Professors of the Department of Metal Structures and Testing of Structures of KSUAE became finalists of the II All-Russian competition "Leaders of the construction industry 2022".

In total, according to the results of the qualifying stages of the competition, out of the total number of registered participants (almost 12,000 people), 200 contestants became semi-finalists, 111 people became finalists, 30 of them became winners.

On the first day, the participants were given a business task for teamwork and exchange of experience. As part of the business simulation "BRIDGES", the participants united in 6 teams and completed the task of building a paper bridge according to certain criteria. At the end of the exercise, an additional introduction was given on the integration of all 6 bridges into a single architectural project.

During the assignment, the participants were able to work in small groups, establish communication with colleagues and demonstrate their leadership and professional skills and qualities. The teams did an excellent job with the exercise and then analyzed in detail all the difficulties and challenges they faced as part of the work done.

On the second day, based on the interaction experience gained, the business coach of the DOM.RF group of companies held a seminar on effective communication and interaction skills. The participants gained an understanding of the peculiarities of negotiations and interaction, and were also able to discuss all issues of interest.

On the third day, the tutor of academic programs “Leaders of the construction industry” spoke about the principles of organizing thinking in projects and teams, about the effective thinking of a modern leader in the new economy, 10 laws of systems thinking, about what it means to manage and much more.

On the last day of the event, the projects of the participants were heard, everyone was given the same time to convey the essence of their project not only to the jury members, but also to the contestants. As a result of the presentations, the project of our professor was chosen by the participants as the most interesting and necessary in the construction industry and was awarded a separate prize.

All finalists are included in the personnel reserve of the construction industry of the Russian Federation, and their work will be presented at a special session of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. In addition, all projects will be sent to the governors of the regions for further study and review.

"KSUAE fest": a festival of talents, music and sports

The beginning of the new academic year at KSUAE was marked by the evening student festival "KGASU fest".

A real festival of various talents, modern music and songs (including author's) from graduates and students of KSUAE, sports competitions in arm wrestling, table tennis, basketball, various board games and, of course, a disco - all this rich program was prepared by activists of the Student Council for students university.

The festival was held on the campus, on the square in front of the University sports complex. The territory was divided into 15 thematic locations, where student activists told freshmen and guests of the festival about various areas of work of the student council (student teams, volunteer center, environmental movement "Be Clean", security service, student media, cultural and entertainment projects, etc.). etc.), held master classes in beading, drawing, graffiti, dancing, organized sports competitions, concert and dance venues, etc.

The holiday turned out to be bright, exciting, cheerful, and, we hope, it will remain in the memory of students for a long time. Many thanks to the organizers!

Сongratulations on the start of the new academic year!

September 1st is celebrated annually as Knowledge Day. This holiday traditionally opens the new academic year. This day is especially exciting for first-year students. With this solemn day, a completely new life begins for them, full of interesting knowledge, amazing acquaintances, and unforgettable events.

The Rector of the University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Rashit Nizamov congratulated the students on the Day of Knowledge, on their successful admission to one of best Universities, wished them an interesting student life, excellent studies, new experiences and friends.

The guest of honor of the event at KSUAE was the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashov. He emphasized that the relevant Ministry works in close cooperation with the KSUAE staff: this is both research and the introduction of the most modern innovative developments, technological, engineering, achievements in the field of architecture, awards in international competitions, participation in regional projects, programs for the development of public spaces , and so on.

Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov in the top ten of the 50 best builders of Tatarstan ("BUSINESS Online")
