Our University has a wonderful tradition: senior students initiate freshmen as students. This year, all institutes have participated in the event at the Mesha sports and recreation camp.

A large team of organizers represented by senior students, investing huge efforts, energy and creative skills, prepared unforgettable “tests” for freshmen. The senior students, rich in inventions, arranged for the first-year students games of dexterity and ingenuity, quests where you need to show intelligence and endurance, mysterious contests and a lot of fun.

Students and graduates of KSUAE are welcome to take part in the International Professional Competition NOPRIZ for the best project - 2022

The National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ) invites students and graduate students of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering to take part in the NOPRIZ International Professional Competition for the best project - 2022.

Leading industry universities of the country, scientific and professional design and survey and construction organizations, their associations, representatives of the general public and the creative intelligentsia of Russia, member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and other states are invited to participate in the Competition.

Projects are especially welcomed, in the creation and implementation of which young specialists (not older than 30 years old), students and graduate students of specialized universities took part.

Participation in the Competition is free.

In accordance with the Competition Regulations, competitive proposals submitted by young professionals, students and graduate students will be considered by the Competition Commission as part of an independent sub-nomination of the corresponding nomination.

Presentation materials of the winning projects of the Contest will be posted on the NOPRIZ website and presented at exhibitions in federal districts. Based on the results of the Competition, a catalog will be formed, which will include all the winning projects with a description.

Student workshop "Renovation of industrial areas in Kazan" opened at the center of KSUAE "Urban Planning"

On September 12, 2022, a student workshop, organized by the Institute for City Development in cooperation with KSUAE, opened at the KSUAE research and academic center Urban Planning.

The theme of the workshop was the problem of renovation of industrial areas in the city of Kazan. A workshop is a format of a learning event that helps participants gain knowledge and immediately put it into practice to form certain skills.

The workshop is attended by students of the 5th year of study "Urban Planning", divided into four project groups under the guidance of KSUAE staff and tutors from the "City Development Institute". To evaluate project proposals, an expert council was created from employees of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Kazan, the Institute for City Development, academic staff of KSUAE and external experts.

The industrial territory of Kazan is proposed as the territory under development. Currently, the City Development Institute is working on assessing the prerequisites for the revitalization of industrial areas.

On September 21-22, 2022, the "City Development Institute" is scheduled to hold architectural lectures and seminars "Autumn Dialogues". The main theme of this series of meetings is "Renovation of industrial areas".

The project "Republican dance competition" of the Headquarters of student teams of KSUAE became the winner of the competition of micro-grants from Rosmolodezh!

The Republican dance competition "You are dancing!" among student teams, which takes place for the fifth year in a row at the initiative of the Headquarters of student teams of KSUAE, became the winner in the competition of microgrants from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Rosmolodezh!

In 2022, the event brought together more than 300 participants from 30 teams of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga Federal District in the Uram extreme park to identify the best dance numbers.

Innovative developments of KSUAE scientists were presented within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum-2022

From August 31 to September 2, 2022, the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum-2022 was held at the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Center.

The inauguration of the forum took place on August 31, 2022 with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suheil bin Mohammed Al Mazrui, Minister of Oil and Environment of the Kingdom of Bahrain Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dain and other officials.

The Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum is one of the largest international events of the Russian oil and gas industry, which is an effective platform for the exchange of ideas, discussion of key issues of the industry by Russian and foreign experts and the scientific community of the oil and gas industry, demonstration of the latest developments and technologies, a meeting place for industrial and business communities. More than 160 leading industry companies from 25 regions of Russia and 4 foreign countries are represented at the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum-2022 as part of the TatOilExpo-2022 exhibition. More than 2 thousand people took part in the business program - representatives of manufacturers and suppliers of gas and oil equipment, oil corporations and holdings, oil and gas producing and processing enterprises, companies implementing projects in the field of ecology, universities, special economic zones.

On August 31, a panel session with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov on the topic "Expanding the use of petrochemical products of republican production in the construction industry." Representatives of KSUAE also took part in the work of the panel session: Rector R.K. Nizamov, Vice-Rector for Research, etc.

Following the panel session, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today new materials and new approaches in construction are most in demand and instructed to create a working group to study the possibilities of using new materials in the construction industry obtained in cooperation with petrochemistry, with the involvement of the scientific potential and laboratory facilities of KSUAE.

Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov presented to the participants of the panel session the innovative developments of KSUAE that have passed pilot testing and are aimed at expanding the consumption of chemical and petrochemical products in road construction, carried out by a team of scientists from the Institute of Transport Facilities of KSUAE:

- Development of efficient pavement designs for low-intensity rural highways using treated and modified local mineral materials;

- Development and implementation of materials for the restoration of the weighing zone of automatic points of weight and size control using epoxy resin;

- Development of subgrade material for field roads and sites based on drilled rock from oil wells; - Introduction of a stabilizing-modifying additive for crushed stone-mastic asphalt mixtures.

The exhibition and forum events were visited also by students of KSUAE.
