Graduate students and teachers of KSUAE - winners of the Republican competition "Engineer of the Year" - completed an internship at the Centre Skolkovo

Graduate students and teachers of KSUAE- winners of the Republican competition "Engineer of the Year" - Karina Khuziakhmetova, Aniya Ibragimova, Ruslan Ibragimov, Damir Ayupov - completed an internship at Skolkovo.

The internship was aimed at developing engineering competencies using the method of immersion in the practice of innovation using the infrastructure of the Skolkovo innovation center. On the territory of Skolkovo, trainees visited the offices and laboratories of Skolkovo Technopark residents, discussed the current situation in relevant industries, talked with experts from the technology field, and participated in networking with Skolkovo startups.

The internship ended with the development and presentation of projects dedicated to the use of tools for developing programs for innovative development of enterprises. The works were evaluated by leading experts of the technology market of the Russian Federation, certified specialists in the theory of solving inventive problems.

KSUAE students visited Fidgetal Games - Games of the Future 2023

On October 20 and 21, 2023, more than 200 KSUAE students visited Fidgetal games (Games of the Future) in the disciplines CS:GO and Warface. Let us remind you that Fidgetal games combine physical sports and a computer game.

Last week, competitions between professional teams were held at the Kazan EXPO IEC. First, the teams played in the digital space, then on the real field. The physical analogue of CS:GO and Warface was laser tag. Students were able to watch the best of the best in these disciplines play.

An interactive platform from Vkontakte was also organized for visitors to the games, where everyone could play CS:GO2, experience virtual reality and dance in Just Dance.

The winners received memorable gifts. An autograph session with the famous streamers PCH3LK1N and DEGST3R and a concert by the young hip-hop artist and rapper Bushido Zho were also prepared for the audience.

Now we are waiting for the Fidgetal Games 2024, which will be held in Kazan in spring.

KSUAE took part in the Forum “Digital Innopolis Days” - a forum on digital independence in business and education

On October 19-20, 2023, Innopolis University hosted the Forum on digital independence in business and education “Digital Innopolis Days”. This year the forum is being held for the sixth time. The Vice Rector for digital technologies David Kordonchik and students with the academic staff took part in the forum.

The Forum program included a plenary session, a panel session on the implementation of the “Digital Departments” project in 2023”, a round table “Development of the video game and e-sports industry in the Russian Federation”, an open dialogue “How to prepare a sought-after defender? Issues of information security training", youth discussion and round table "Effective teaching methods through the eyes of students", expert discussion "Unobvious application artificial intelligence: effects, risks and barriers." October 20 in the forum program: - Business game from Yandex 360 and Yandex Cloud “Digital solutions for current problems of universities”; - Expert discussion “Figital format in education – the missing link or the usual reality”; - Expert discussion “The impact of educational trends on the digital transformation of universities.”

Representatives of Shandong University (China) with the visit to KSUAE

The Head of the international exchange department of Shandong University (China) and the Head of the Leyee educational organization, Ms. Ge Yumei, paid a friendly visit to KSUAE.

During the visit, Ms. Ge Yumei visited the scientific and educational centers of our University and knew about the areas of training and research activities of the university. The parties discussed issues of academic mobility between universities, attracting Chinese students to study at our programs in the field of “Construction”, at preparatory courses of Russian as a foreign language, as well as the possibility of organizing testing for Chinese schoolchildren in some applied subjects for their further admission.

The guests noted the high level of equipment of research and educational centers and creative spaces, interesting interior solutions and a warm welcome meeting from the University.
