Student of KSUAE Violetta Zaripova became a finalist of the competition "Student Leader 2023"

On April 25-26, 2023, the republican round of the all-Russian competition "Student Leader" was held in Kazan. The competition was held by the Tatarstan republican organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education and the Student Coordinating Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education.

The main goal of the competition is to identify and support talented young people who are able to professionally engage in the implementation of the state youth policy among students, to intensify the work of student and educational organizations to protect the rights and interests of students.

Our student Violetta Zaripova took part in the competition on behalf of KSUAE. This is not the first time that Violetta has participated in competitions held by the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education and the Student Coordinating Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education. Most recently, she, as part of a team from KSUAE, became a finalist in the competition for the best team of the trade union bureau.

Violetta shared her impressions of the competition: “It was a great experience for me to participate in such a competition. During the master classes of other universities, I listened carefully, because it was very interesting for me. The organization of the competition was at a decent level, all my questions were answered immediately, supported during the events. And, of course, it was very nice to receive a prize along with a diploma. I'm not going to stop and will go again next year!”. According to the results of the competition, Violetta became the finalist of the competition.

International applicants from Kazan Universities visited KSUAE in the Welcome Day: "It's always better to see once than to hear hundred times"

On April 23, 2023, on the Welcome Day KSUAE hosted foreign applicants studying at preparatory courses in different Kazan Universities but planning to become students of our University, starting from September 2023.

The citizens of Angola, Morocco, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Colombia, Peru, Benin, Egypt, Congo, Chad, Guinea, Iraq, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire came to see what study programmes and conditions are offered by our University and have been impressed by the comfortable educational environment, equipped and spacious conditions in which our students have their daily classes.

A tour around the University campus was organized for them with the visit also to our innovative academic and research centers such as: "BFFT.space", the Center for Engineering Systems in Construction "Systems", "Strength", "Technology", "Roads", "Urban Planning», «Digital», «Heritage», «Architectural Physics», «Base», «Development». In the centers, they got acquainted with the laboratory equipment that is used during training sessions with students and for research, as well as with the innovative developments of our staff and scientists in the field of architecture, construction, and the road transport sector. 

In addition, foreign guests got acquainted with the University sports complex and university dormitories.

After a long walk around the University campus, foreign guests were invited to a coffee break, during which they were treated to national sweets and pastries prepared by the chefs of our canteen.

The official part of the event was held in the Assembly hall. The Rector, professor Rashit Nizamov welcomed all the international guests which shared their enthusiastic impressions of visiting the University, and also learned about the admission procedure of foreign citizens to educational programs of KSUAE in 2023.

At the end of the event, the guests watched a wonderful concert organized by foreign and Russian students of the University.

The All-Russian Conference “Heritage of V.I. Vernadsky and modern problems of ecology" at KSUAE

On April 20, 2023, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “The Legacy of V.I. Vernadsky and modern problems of ecology took place at our University.

Within the framework of the conference, reports were heard on the study of modern environmental problems and ways to solve them, in order to improve the environmental situation in the urban environment and industrial and civil construction.

At the conference, lecturers of chemistry and engineering ecology in construction, students of the "Technospheric safety" training direction and invited speakers made presentations.

As a result of the conference, a collection of articles will be published, which is placed in the scientific electronic library elibrary.ru  and registered in the RSCI database. All speakers of the conference will receive certificates of participation, and the best reports will be awarded diplomas and incentive prizes.

The team of KSUAE is the winner of the International Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation

From April 18 to April 20, 2023, the final stage of the International Student Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation was held at KSUAE. Representatives of 19 universities took part in the Olympiad.

From KSUAE participated 4th year students studying in the specialization of "Engineering life support systems in construction" - Aliya Bikmullina, Artur Galimzyanov and Maria Chukhlova.

The participants of the Olympiad solved the tasks: the theoretical part consisted of test questions, the practical part consisted of 10 tasks from the field of designing heat and gas supply systems, heat generating installations, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, as well as from the field of fundamental disciplines: building thermal physics, technical thermodynamics and hydromechanics.

Checking student solutions was hot, but the main part of the jury is not the first time coming to such events, and therefore a competent organization made it possible to evaluate all the works with the participation of the main number of jury members, which ensured maximum objectivity. During the check, the jury members noted the high level of professionalism in solving various kinds of problems among the participants, and it was decided, in addition to determining the absolute winners, to note the students who showed the highest results in solving problems in various disciplines. On the third day of the Olympiad in the architectural and educational space "BFFT.space" the participants were awarded and the winners of the Olympiad were honored. The award was given by the Rector of KSUAE Rashit Nizamov.

The victory in the final stage of the International Student Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation was taken by a team of students of KSUAE! 2nd award - Belgorod State Technological University. V.G. Shukhov, 3rd award - the team of the Ural Federal University.

The best result was shown by a student of KSUAE Artur Galimzyanov - 1st award in the individual competition; 2nd award - a student of KSUAE Maria Chukhlova, our third participant Aliya Bikmullina took 6th award.
