73rd International Scientific Conference on the Problems of Architecture and Construction took place at KSUAE

21-29 April, 2022 at KSUAE the 73rd International Scientific Conference on the Problems of Architecture and Construction took place. The annual conference is a great event in the scientific life of the University and its departments. Within the framework of meetings of scientific sections, each speaker presents the results of his scientific work over the past year. The high requirements of the teaching staff for the level of reports turn the meetings into a real scientific review, where everyone learns the real value of their developments, and young people can clearly express themselves.

The conference was held in different sections: "Construction materials science and resource-saving technologies for the production of building materials and products", "Economics and management in construction", "Problems of architecture, urban planning and design", "Fundamental general research", "Engineering systems and ecology in construction" and issues of improving methods for calculating structures and structures.

Student of KSUAE Aigul Mavlavieva became the winner of the IX International Olympiad in the Tatar language and literature

On April 17-20, 2022, the IX International Olympiad in the Tatar language and literature was held. More than 500 pupils and students took part in it. The Olympiad was held in 2 stages: part-time and full-time. Part-time — participants registered and passed a remote test; full-time - for two days the participants of the Olympiad competed for the best knowledge of the Tatar language, literature and Tatar culture.

On April 18 the participants of the Olympiad completed written assignments in the Tatar language and literature and answered questions on the history of the Tatar people and Tatarstan. On April 19, the guys defended their design work on the topic “Minem shәҗәrәm” (“My genealogy”).

As part of the Olympiad, the participants visited the sights of Kazan, the Kazan Kremlin, watched the performances of the Tatar Academic Theater and the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater, met with representatives of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan.

The winners were determined in three categories: 1. Tatarstan 2. Regions of Russia 3. Foreign countries (Australia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, tested online).

A 1st year student of KSUAE Aigul Mavlavieva became the WINNER in the category Tatarstan: out of 20 people - 1 winner and 3 prize-winners.

Representatives of Saint-Gobain company visited KSUAE

On April 6, 2022, representatives of the Saint-Gobain company visited KSUAE. "Saint-Gobain" is a world leader in creating a comfortable space for living, working and relaxing people. It is ncluded in the TOP-100 largest industrial corporations in the world. The company develops innovative solutions for construction, renovation, industry and transport.

The meeting with representatives of the Saint-Gobain company was organized on the initiative of the Department of Construction Production Technologies (TSP). Head of the Department R.A. Ibragimov showed the guests the scientific and educational centers of KSUAE, including the new Osnovy/Bases center, where Saint-Gobain offered to place modern technological equipment and innovative materials.

The guests highly appreciated the material and technical equipment of the scientific and educational centers of KSUAE, their  development prospects, and also outlined areas for further cooperation with the university.

Students of KSUAE are in the top three of the International Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation (Master level)

On April 1, 2022, the winners of the IV International Student Olympiad in the field of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation (Master level) were awarded at the Southwest State University (city of Kursk).

During two competitive days, the participants solved various test tasks and engineering tasks, and also passed the creative design stage.

According to the results of the competition, three leaders were determined: 1st place – Maria Popova (Southwest State University); 2nd place - Adel Safin (Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering); 3rd place - Amir Gaifullin (Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering).

Congratulations to the students of KSUAE and the head of the group, Doctor of Technical Sciences Arslan Ziganshin!
