We invite you to cooperate with the scientific online journal of KSUAE "Secondary resources in the production of building materials"!

Dear colleagues,

we are pleased to announce that at the end of 2022, the 10th anniversary edition of the scientific Internet journal "Polymers in Construction" was published. The magazine has been published since 2014.

In 2023, it is planned to change the name and profile of the journal. It will be called "Secondary resources in the production of building materials." Already in this last edition of 2022, the scientific online journal "Polymers in Construction" published articles on topical issues of secondary resources and their disposal.

We look forward to an active response for publishing on the pages of the online journal the materials that are relevant from a scientific and practical point of view. From 2023, the magazine will be published under a new name four times a year.

The new topic of the journal includes the following key questions: 1. Development of compositions and improvement of technologies for the manufacture of effective building materials and products using local raw materials and industrial waste, including the use of materials from the dismantling of buildings and structures. 2. Obtaining building materials of inorganic and organic nature with a given set of performance properties, including special and environmentally friendly. 3. Development of methods for predicting and evaluating the durability of building materials using recycled materials and products under specified operating conditions. 4. Innovative development of environmentally friendly, energy-efficient building materials, including those using recycled resources. 5. Improvement and development of new energy-saving and environmentally efficient technologies for obtaining building materials and products for various purposes. 6. Development of a system for monitoring and assessing the quality of building materials and products. 7. Development and manufacturing technology of effective materials, products and structures for transport construction. 8. Methods and ways of recycling building structures and structures after they have exhausted their resource or fulfilled their target tasks, preventing pollution of the environment. 9. New sources of resources for creating building materials. 10. Effective methods for modifying building materials and products based on organic and inorganic raw materials.

A master class on the use of TIM in industrial construction was held at KSUAE

On January 12, 2023, a training seminar was held at KSUAE - a master class on modern methods of designing industrial facilities and the use of information modeling technologies (TIM), organized jointly with the Soyuzkhimpromproekt Design Institute.

The seminar was attended by the academic staff of departments that train in the field of "Production of building materials, products and structures."

Director of the Soyuzkhimpromproekt Institute Kochnev Pavel spoke about the activities of the institute, speaking highly of the graduates of KSUAE who annually come to work for them: “KSUAE graduates are very well prepared. It takes only a week for them to adapt and engage in work!”

Airat Iskhakov, Deputy Technical Director for Digitalization, showed how TIM is implemented at the institute at various stages, spoke about the software used, and the prospects for switching to Russian software. Particular attention was paid to the design of construction industry enterprises, the use of equipment libraries, and the improvement of the use of TIM in the educational process.

KSUAE and the Institute "Soyuzkhimpromproekt" agreed on joint activities in the field of personnel training, on the organization of industrial practices and the employment of graduates.

Reference. Design Institute "Soyuzkhimpromproekt" is one of the leading Russian design institutes, which is engaged in the design of industrial facilities.

The first edition of the new electronic scientific publication of KSUAE "Building constructions, facilities and structures"

The first issue of the new electronic scientific publication of KSUAE "Building structures, buildings and structures" has been published. The electronic scientific publication "Building Constructions, Facilities and Structures" is aimed at a wide audience of professional scientists specializing in various areas of technical sciences.

We invite you to take part in the second issue of the "Building structures, buildings and structures", publishing house of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering.

The editors accept scientific articles by sections: 2.1.1 - Building structures, buildings and structures; 2.1.2 - Bases and foundations, underground structures; 2.1.3 - Heat supply, ventilation, air conditioning, gas supply and lighting; 2.1.4 - Water supply, sewerage, building systems for the protection of water resources; 2.1.6 - Hydraulic engineering construction; 2.1.9 - Structural mechanics; 2.1.14 - Management of the life cycle of construction objects; 2.1.15 - Safety of construction objects.

Welcome Day at KSUAE for prospective students

Our University invites perspective students to the Welcome tour and meeting on 29 January, 2023, at 10 am!

We will show you our University, you will visit you our laboratory training and research facilities, research and academic centers which we consider the best ones in Russia.

You will also meet with the University administration in the Aula magna (its beginning is scheduled for 12 pm after the end of the tour) and get acquainted with our admission conditions in 2023.
