Rector of KSUAE Rashit Nizamov to future applicants: “Make the right choice so as not to regret later all your life!”

On January 29, 2023 the Open Welcome Day brought together more than 500 guests. The University was visited by students of senior and final grades of schools, their parents, close relatives who wish to get to know the university, its scientific and educational sites, learn more about the areas of training, admission rules at the university and, of course, ask questions of interest. It is understandable, very little time is left for graduates to determine the most important choice in life: who to become and where to go to study?

The guests came from Kazan, cities and regions of Tatarstan, neighboring republics and even remote corners of Russia. The open day was also attended by more than 40 foreign citizens studying the Russian language at the preparatory courses of KSUAE. The organizers prepared a rich program for the guests with a tour of scientific and educational centers, acquaintance with the areas of training, the student program and the official part in the assembly hall.

For the participants of the meeting, tours were organized around the university campus, to scientific and educational centers and creative sites: the architectural and educational space "BFFT.space", the Center for Engineering Systems in Construction "Systems", "Strength", "Technology", "Roads", "Urban Planning", "Digital", "Heritage", "Architectural Physics", "Base", "Development". Directors of institutes, heads of centers, heads of departments introduced the guests to the equipment of the centers, laboratory equipment and technology, and also spoke about innovative developments in architecture, construction, road transport, areas of training at the institutes of KSUAE, answered questions.

The official part of the Open Day was held in the assembly hall of KSUAE. The guests were greeted and told about the university by the Rector, doctor of technical sciences, professor R.K. Nizamov. The Rector noted the importance of choosing a university and a profession in a person’s life: “Make the right choice so as not to regret later all your life!” The Rector drew the attention of future applicants and their parents to the key points in choosing a university and direction of study: this is a personal desire, and abilities for a certain type of activity, this is the demand for a profession, this is an understanding of what kind of university it is, whether it has a history , experience in training specialists in a particular area, whether scientific and educational schools have been formed, in what classrooms, laboratories will teach you, finally, how cool, interesting, incendiary your life will be in the next 4-6 years.

The Rector wished good luck in preparing for the exams and, of course, successful admission to KSUAE.

Responsible Secretary of the Admissions Committee A.F. Khuzin told the guests about the Rules for Admission to KSUAE in 2023, introduced the innovations in the admission campaign, and also answered numerous questions from the audience.

Students of KSUAE are winners and laureates of the award "Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2022"

On January 25, on the Day of Russian Students, a solemn ceremony of awarding the Republican Prize for students in educational programs of higher education "XVIII Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2022" was held at the Pyramid center.

The organizer of the event is the Regional Youth Public Organization "League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan" together with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The award is held to identify, support and encourage talented students with special achievements in the field of student government, science, creativity, sports, media, youth policy, student leadership, community activities and volunteering.

Three students of KSUAE became winners and laureates of the Prize:

The winner in the nomination "Volunteer of the Year" - Laysan Kilmakova;

Winner in the nomination "Creative Personality of the Year" - Dilyara Ismagilova, 

Laureate in the nomination "Public Activist of the Year" - Adelya Nigmatullina.

On January 25, Russia celebrates the Student Day 

The holiday is included in the list of memorable dates in Russia. But the holiday has been leading its history and traditions since the 18th century. On January 25 (January 12, old style), 1755, Empress Elizabeth, supporting the initiative of Count Ivan Shuvalov and Mikhail Lomonosov, signed a decree "On the Establishment of Moscow University."

On the Day of Russian Students, our congratulations and wishes to the most numerous, most active, most promising part of our university staff - students of KSUAE!

President of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov visited the scientific and educational space of KSUAE "Base"

On January 24, 2023, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by the rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov, got acquainted with the new scientific and educational space "Base", which includes two scientific and educational centers - "Geotechnics" and "Construction".

In the center "Geotechnics" R.N. Minnikhanov was presented with a testing room for models of bases and foundations, as well as laboratories for soil preparation and mechanics. The center is equipped with modern instruments and equipment. This allows solving scientific, innovative and applied problems related to the reliable operation of foundation structures in difficult geotechnical conditions. A number of laboratories were demonstrated to the guests at the Construction Center. In particular, conditions have been created here for studying modern systems of heat, hydro and sound insulation, systems of facade structures, formwork systems, concreting technologies, digital technologies are being effectively introduced in construction, there is a training model of a construction site, etc.

At the collegium of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan President of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov noted in his speech: “Today we had a very interesting meeting at the University of Architecture and Engineering. A lot has been done, a lot, and in fact, ... A very, very serious laboratory base, it should be used as much as possible .. "These laboratories ... they are both educational and industrial, they should be used to the maximum. Well, the quality of training specialists will be completely different."
