KSUAE is the leader among Russian universities in the competition of the degree projects in the field of road and bridge construction!
The results of the III round of the All-Russian competition of final qualifying works of bachelors in the speciality 08.03.01 "Construction", masters in the speciality 08.04.01 "Construction" (academic profiles: "Roads and airfields", "Road bridges and tunnels"), engineers in the specialty 08.05.02 "Construction, operation, restoration and technical cover of roads, bridges and tunnels", in the specialty "Construction (reconstruction), operation and technical cover of roads" and engineers in the specialty 08.05.01 "Construction of unique buildings and structures”, specializing in “Construction of highways, airfields and special structures”.The competition of final qualifying works was held on the basis of KSUAE at the Institute of Transport Structures from May 16 to May 21, 2022.
The opening of the competition took place in the research and academic center "Roads". The competition was opened by the rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov, with the participation of Vice-Rector for Education I.E. Vildanov, Vice-Rector for Research and Development, Head of the Department of Highways, Bridges and Tunnels E.A. Vdovin and director of the Institute A.Yu. Fomin, as well as the teaching staff of universities of the Russian Federation.
In total, 27 universities took part in the III round of the All-Russian review-competition of the degree projects, presenting 245 works: Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, Belgorod State Technological University. Shukhov, Bryansk State Engineering and Technology University, Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, Tambov State Technical University St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Siberian State Automobile and Road University, Siberian State Transport University, Altai State technical university. I.I. Polzunov, Tyumen Industrial University, Yaroslavl State Technical University, Vladimir State University. A.G. and N.G. Stoletovs, Ivanovo State Polytechnic University, Perm National Research Polytechnic University, Ural State Forestry University, Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) Volga Branch, Don State Technical University, Volgograd State Technical University, Kuban State Technological University, Saratov State Technical University named after Yu.A. Gagarin, Siberian Federal University, Vologda State University, Perm National Research Polytechnic University, Samara State Technical University, Volga State Technological University, Moscow Automobile and Highway State Technical University.
The Institute of Transport Structures of KSUAE submitted 31 final qualifying projects (15 bachelor's projects and 16 master's projects) to the competition. According to the results of the competition, 14 final qualifying projects of bachelors took 1st, 2nd and 3rd awards; 14 final qualifying works of masters took the 1st and 2nd awards.
In the team competition, KSUAE once again became the leader in Russia among road and bridge builders! The award ceremony for the winners of the competition was held at the Urban Planning Center with the participation of the Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov.
