KSUAE Foreign students took an active part in the “Friendship of Peoples” Spartakiad in Kazan

On May 11-12, 2024, the “Friendship of Peoples” Spartakiad of foreign students took place in Kazan in five sports - mini-football, volleyball, 3x3 basketball, tennis and chess. The main venue for the competition was the Uram extreme park in Kazan.

The objectives of the sporting event are to attract young people to sports, popularize physical education and a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen interethnic ties.

KSUAE Foreign students took part in the Spartakiad along with students from other universities. A 1st year student, Institute of Construction, Welcome Mandhlazi (Zimbabwe) in a bitter struggle took 3rd place in the individual chess tournament. The competitors were 18 foreign students from Tunisia, Egypt, India, Turkmenistan, Nigeria and other countries.

The KSUAE football team of foreign students (Egypt, Chad, Angola, Cote D’Ivoire), led by Azab Abdullah Mohamad, played two interesting mini-football (3x3) matches. Our team showed a very beautiful game in the penalty shootout, defeating the opponent.

Our 1st year student at the Institute of Architecture and Design, Milana Tashlykova (Uzbekistan), decided to try her hand at table tennis competitions for the first time. Her opponents turned out to be a little stronger, but she still has a long way to go.

We thank our foreign students for their active position, active participation and worthy presentation of KSUAE at the city level. We wish you to conquer new heights and move forward!

Happy Great Victory Day!

May 9, 2024 marks the 79th anniversary of the Victory of our people in the Great Patriotic War. The Great Patriotic War changed the course of world history, the fate of people and the map of the world. Our people resisted the powerful onslaught of a highly organized and well-armed enemy - Nazi Germany and its allies. We survived and won.

These days we remember the great feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism, the harsh war years, the hard, selfless work of ordinary people at the front and in the rear, the feat of millions who died on the battlefields, from hunger and cold. The victory came at a high cost to our people. There was not a single family in the country that was not affected by the war.

And today the problems of security, independence and independence of the state are relevant. During a special military operation, our soldiers continue the feat of their great-grandfathers and grandfathers, fulfilling the tasks set by the country's leadership.

Today, more than ever, we must remember that terrible war and the great feat of our people in order to appreciate life, love each other, rejoice in the opportunity to study, work, raise children under a peaceful sky! Victory Day is a holiday that unites generations.

We remember our history - we are proud!

On the eve of Victory Day, our international students paid tribute to the heroes of the II World War

Annually, on 9 May, Russia celebrates its significant Victory Day, when the Great Patriotic War ended in 1945 by the victory of soviet army over fascists.
Every year for all Russian people it's a festive day.

KSUAE international students joined the solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame near the monument to the Unknown Soldier in the Kazan Central Park, together with representatives of the multinational youth of Tatarstan.

With great interest, they listened and recited poems about the war in different languages of the peoples of Tatarstan.

Besides, at the University festive ceremony dedicated to this day, students from Colombia, Angola, Ecuador, and Benin sang together a famous Russian song "Katyusha" known in many countries.

Thank you, guys, for your respect and interest in the history of our country!

KSUAE at the Russian Venture Forum

The XVIII Russian Venture Forum 2024 became the most important event in the venture capital industry of the Russian Federation and set the main trends in innovative development and technological entrepreneurship. The forum brought together more than 4 thousand participants, over 200 speakers, about 100 representatives of investment funds, as well as more than 50 startup projects at the Kazan EXPO IEC.

The forum was attended by the KSUAE Rector R.K. Nizamov, teachers and students. The main topic of the plenary session of the forum was “Technological entrepreneurship: the space of higher competencies.” In the exposition hall of the Russian Venture Forum, a presentation of portfolio companies of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (IVF RT) took place in the format of a pitch session.

At the event, 2 startup projects of KSUAE, winners of the “Start-1” competition of the “Idea 1000” innovation project support program of the IVF RT were presented: - Development of strengthened soils modified with activated fillers for the construction of highways (Neodortech LLC, director - assistant of the department of highways, bridges and tunnels N.V. Konovalov); - Development and implementation of a specialized composition of fine-grained concrete, additive technological processes in construction (AST Lab LLC, director - senior researcher at the Department of Construction Production Technologies L.V. Ziganshina).
