The KSUAE students' project was awarded an honorary prize at the anniversary Olympiad in Norway
The results of the 15th International Student Architectural Online Olympiad have been summed up in Oslo. This year, the competition was a record-breaking one in terms of the number of applications and geography - 1002 students from 93 countries!
The jury selected three winners and three works were awarded honorary awards. These are works by students from the architectural schools of Oslo, Bucharest and Kazan.
Among the six best is the work of KSUACE student architects! The honorary award was received by Daria Shel and Anastasia Lukashchuk, fourth-year students of KSUAE.
According to the terms of the competition, students were given 120 hours to complete the task - a conceptual project on a given topic. From March 3 to 8, 2025, students, under the guidance of teacher Ilnar Akhtyamova, prepared projects on the theme "Pavilion of the Lost". The organizers, as in the first year of the competition, chose the territory for the design on the university campus. Nastya and Dasha's idea was to create a cozy and secluded place among the thickets, where a person could be alone with himself. After all, it is always morally difficult when we lose something, miss out on something, or give up something. We want to find ourselves where there is no one, to be alone. But the authors also wanted to show that life does not end there! They emphasized that at all times of the year this place is filled with life and interesting events. Even despite the fact that a person was forced to give up his dream.
You can see the works and results of the competition on the official website of the competition.
Congratulations to the students and teachers on the award!
