Our Architecture students again won the international competition Radical Innovation in the USA!

Each year, the Radical invites to participate with groundbreaking solutions that could change the travel and hospitality industry of the future. Hundreds of applications were received from over 55 countries.

The jury of the competition includes the largest investors and heads of construction companies in the hospitality industry, the global head of design for the Hilton network, and others.
This year, both prizes in the student nomination were taken by students of KSUAE under the guidance of our architects Ilnar and Rezeda Akhtyamov.

4th year BSc student Vladislav Krayushkin became a finalist with the INNSERT project on compact hotels in urban voids, which the jury called "thoughtful and exciting work".

3rd year BSc student Adelina Abdullina and 2nd year MSc student Guzel Khakimova became the winners of the competition with the Game Hotel project about a futuristic hotel for gamers with virtual and augmented reality. According to the jury, the Game Hotel reflects the future of virtual reality because in a specially equipped hotel, the possibilities of the gaming industry are much wider than products for home use. The authors will receive a cash prize of $1,500, as well as the opportunity to become assistants at a leading USA university.

In 2019 the winners of the Radical Innovation Award were also our students with the project of a hotel on the roofs of New York.

Student Day in Russia

525/01/2022

Rector R.K. Nizamov: “Being a student is very cool! Congratulations, dear friends!

January 25 is the Day of Russian Students. Historically, it so happened that on that same day, back in 1755 on January 25, the Russian Empress Elizaveta signed a decree "On the Establishment of Moscow University", and January 25 became the official university day (at that time it was called "the day of foundation of the Moscow University). In Russia, back in the last century, Student's Day became a cheerful and noisy holiday for the student community.

Rector Prof. Rashit Nizamov: "I congratulate all students, teachers and staff of our University on this joyful and eternally young holiday - the Day of Russian Students!

The Day of Russian Students is celebrated in Russia annually on January 25 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 25, 2005, and in 2007, according to federal law, it was included in the list of memorable dates in Russia. But the holiday has been leading its history and traditions since the 18th century.

Being a student means youth of soul and body, activity, optimism, thirst for knowledge, search for discoveries and, of course, new friends, unforgettable impressions for life! Being a student is great!

I wish all the KSUAE students good health, prosperity, love and happiness! And for today's students - confidence in the successful exam session, the favor of teachers, the achievement of goals!

Happy Russian Student Day! Congratulations, dear friends!"

Every year, the Scientific and Technical Council conducts attestation, listening to the reports of graduate students in order to provide information, advisory and practical assistance to novice scientists.

The Dissertation council has been working at the University for many years to submit dissertations for the degree of candidate of science, for the degree of doctor of science in "Building structures, constructions and facilities" and "Construction materials and products".

In 2021 our postgraduate students became winners of such competitions as the Competition of research and scientific-practical works for the scholarships of the Mayor of Kazan; the Republican competition "Fifty best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan"; the Second Republican competition "Engineer of the Year" 2021.

We invite graduates of the MSc courses who are interested in science, who strive with their scientific developments and even discoveries to improve the lives of people, who are not indifferent to the further development of our society and state, to our postgraduate courses!
