KSUAE is recognised as much for its sporting tradition as for its excellence in education, learning and research. Over the past years, the University has been home to some of the greatest athletes.
KSUAE is University with a vast range of sports clubs and societies. It is one of leading centres for student sport in Tatarstan. Our University is always in the top 3 universities in the republic.
Sport at University is provided by our world-class facilities. The University Sports Centre “Tozuche” was opened in 2013. It has a fitness and sports halls, studios and team training room used by international performance athletes.
The University Sports Service is committed to developing sport within the University and in Kazan. Here are our results for the last two months:
KSUAE Boxing Club is one of the toughest and most prestigious sports teams in the republic. Each season, around 10 boxers compete for the Cup of Tatarstan University Championship. This year (March) out team took the first prize!
Volleyball is one of the most successful sports clubs in the University. We have two teams both men and women (few players of our university teams represent Russia at the National and World Championships). On the 22nd of April our volleyball team (men) won the match versus federal university and made it to the final.

Total dictation is a worldwide social project carried out by activists and volunteers every year. The organizer of the event is the Total Dictation Fund (Novosibirsk). Unique text of the dictation is created by famous writers. This year the text was written by Dmitriy Glukhovskiy. Everyone can participate in the Total Dictation, regardless of age, gender, education, religion, profession, interests and political views. The project is held under support of schools, universities and public places of the city.
Students and professors of our university take part in this event with pleasure as it is a good way to check their spelling and enjoy the event. Kamilya Kharisova a well-known SMM specialist, "Miss Kazan 2017", semi-finalist of "Miss Russia 2017" read the text at our university this year.
Foreign students can also participate and check how good they are at Russian. Organizing committee created special task for foreigners, as they study Russian as a second language.

On April 8, 2021, the Russian Venture Forum-2021 opening ceremony took place at the International exhibition center "Kazan EXPO". The Russian Venture Forum is the largest international platform for discussions and negotiations, a meeting place for Russian and foreign participants of the venture capital industry. More than 150 speakers and 3 thousand guests became the participants of the Russian Venture Forum-2021.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the chairman of Skolkovo Fund Arkady Dvorkovich, the founder of the Noodome Fund Ruben Vardanyan, First Deputy CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Anatoly Braverman and other officials participated in this event.

The organizers of the Russian Venture Forum 2021 were the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Venture Investment Association, with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

After the grand opening of the Russian Venture Forum, the honored guests had a tour of the exposition of the venture fair.

Innovative projects of KSUAE scientists were demonstrated to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin and other honorary guests of the Russian Venture Forum-2021 by Rashit Nizamov, the rector of KSUAE, Evgeniy Vdovin, Vice-Rector for Research, Arslan Ziganshin, Associate Professor of the Department of Heat power engineering, gas supply and ventilation and Rustem Mukhametrakhimov, Associate professor of Building production technology department.

Following scientific and innovative projects of KSUAE scientists were presented at the forum:
- «New energy efficient ventilation systems based on changing the geometry of vortex zones in the air flow for housing and communal services facilities and industrial buildings "(Associate Professor of the Department of Heat Power Engineering, Gas Supply and Ventilation Arslan Ziganshin, postgraduate student Evgeniya Solodova);
- «Small architectural forms made by 3D printing from fine-grained concrete "(Associate Professor of the Department of Building Production Technology Rustem Mukhametrakhimov, postgraduate student Liliya Lukmanova).

Within the framework of Russian Venture Forum, a plenary session "Russia and the world in the context of the transformation of the technological agenda" was held, where the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated. The delegation from KSUAE, headed by the rector Rashit Nizamov, also participated in the plenary session.

More than 150 students and teaching staff from our University took part in the forum. We are grateful to all departments of the KSUAE Schools for the great work done to organize the participation of university students in the work of the Russian Venture Forum-2021.

This year more than a hundred applications were submitted to particpate in the All-Russian student construction site "Peaceful Atom", and only 38 teams, having coped with tough competition, passed the competitive selection.

Among them, only two teams from the Republic of Tatarstan, which are based in the Headquarters of the student teams at our University, are student construction brigades "Irbis" and "Kazan".

The "Peaceful Atom" is one of the leading construction projects in Russia, which is taking place at the capital construction projects in the Chelyabinsk region, Ozersk. The State Corporation Rosatom acts as an employer from year to year.

More than 700 representatives of student teams from all over Russia work at the facility annually, but it takes a lot of effort to get on the project. We congratulate our teams with their participation in the "Peaceful Atom" and wish them high performance indicators and high-quality commissar activity!
