Linguistic Club is open by the Association of Foreign Students of KSUAE 

At the initiative of the Association of Foreign Students (AIS) of KSUAE, the Linguistic Club began its work at our University, aimed at learning the Russian language. The first classes were very interesting: the participants got to know each other, talked about their difficulties associated with learning the language.

The organizers identified the level of knowledge of the Russian language among foreign students and developed a special training course. The classes are taught by the students themselves from AIS KSUAE.

In the center of KSUAE "Heritage / Miras" was held a training seminar for restorers from the Academy. B. Remmers

On March 3, 2022, a training seminar was held at the new scientific and educational center for architectural restoration "Heritage / Miras" with the participation of specialists from the Academy Bernhard Remmers (Remmers LLC).

The Remmers is a recognized world leader in the restoration, protection and preservation of buildings and architectural monuments. The seminar at KSUAE brought together restorers - production workers and designers, engineers, architects, technologists, operating organizations and owners of cultural heritage sites. Among the participants there were specialists from Aquaisolation Construction Company LLC, Nephrite+ Insurance Company, Hydrosnabmontazh LLC, Aqualand LLC, Giteks LLC, Gratek-Stroy LLC, Akvanti, Engineering Technologies (Cheboksary), TSNRU JSC, etc.

The seminar was dedicated to the issues of waterproofing in new construction, repair of waterproofing, the use of professional materials for construction and restoration. The seminar consisted of a theoretical (lecture) and practical part (in the restoration workshop of the Heritage/Miras Center). The seminar was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Reconstruction, Restoration of the Architectural Heritage and Fundamentals of Architecture.

Winners of the International competition of projects of the Tatar theater at KSUAE

On February 17, 2022, the winners of the international competition for the project of the future theater named after. G. Kamala.

In total, 537 participants registered for the contest, as a result, applications from 26 consortiums and 13 individual contestants from 14 countries were considered. 8 consortiums with the participation of Kazan and foreign architects made it to the final:

- "East Wind": KSUAE, Da! Architects, Dialog Urban Planning;

- Novikov Architectural Practice from Kazan, Borgos Pieper from Barcelona and Theater Projects from London;

- Metropolis from Moscow, Coop Himmelb(l)au from Vienna and Myriad Group from Kazan;

- Bureau Wowhaus from Moscow, Kengo Kuma & Associates from Tokyo, Werner Sobek from Stuttgart and "PTM architect Bakulin German Alekseevich" from Kazan;

- TPO Pride, Zaha Hadid Architects, Atelier Ten and Theater Projects;

- Theater Laboratory: Rozhdestvenka Bureau and Buro Smart;

- Bespoke and Asif Khan Studio;

- Megabudka, FORM Bureau and ZARF architects.

The consortium "East Wind" under the leadership of KSUAE was among the 8 finalists of the international open competition of architectural concepts for the new building of the G. Kamal Theater. KSUAE is represented by architects - TIArch studio of teachers Ilnar and Rezeda Akhtyamov. The second member of the consortium is the Chinese bureau DA! Architects (Shanghai, China), co-founded by Anna Andronova, graduate of KSUAE 2016, winner of many international architectural competitions.

The meeting at KSUAE was interesting and useful, the students asked many questions about the projects and received a lot of valuable advice from professional architects. Managing Partner, Deputy General Director of Metropolis (Moscow) Mukhamed Nasser invited KSUAE students for an internship.

Our Architecture students among the owners of the grant of the President of the Russian Federation

The Grant of the President of the Russian Federation is granted to persons who have shown outstanding abilities and have shown high achievements in a certain field of activity, including the field of arts and sports, being students of professional educational organizations, educational organizations of higher education, scientific organizations in training programs for mid-level specialists, bachelor courses, specialist's programs and master courses and studying at the expense of the federal and national budget funds. 

A 1st year undergraduate student Adelina Khabibullina received this grant for her successful participation in the All-Russian Olympiad in World Artistic Culture.

A 1st year master student Anna Guseva received a grant based on the results of international architectural competitions and publications Scopus, VAK and RSCI, under the guidance of teachers-architects of KSUAE I.I. and R.Kh. Akhtyamovs.

No more than 1200 grants of the President of the Russian Federation are provided annually to undergraduate and specialist students and no more than 750 grants to graduate students.
