The Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems of KSUAE organized a holiday for students and academic staff
In the hall of the KSUAE, a holiday was organized by the directorate of the Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems and the Student Council. The activists offered the participants a large cultural and entertainment program with competitions, prizes, music. Those who wished could play table tennis, compete for the title of the strongest arm wrestler of the Institute, etc.
The organizers organized their holiday for the date of the formation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, which was created as part of the Kazan Civil Engineering Institute on April 1, 1958.
In the new version, as the Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems, a structural unit of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering was created on September 1, 2014 as a result of the merger of two faculties: the Faculty of Construction and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology. The history of the Institite originated much earlier, with the beginning of the training of specialists in water supply and sewerage as part of the Kazan Institute of Municipal Construction Engineers, established in 1930. The Faculty of Sanitary Engineering was formed in the same 1930 and before the start of the Great Patriotic War trained 25 engineers in the specialty "Water supply and sewerage". Already in the post-war years, new specialties appeared in the faculty: "Production of concrete and reinforced concrete products and materials" - the first admission took place on August 26, 1953, "Water supply and sewerage" - in 1961 training was resumed, "Heat and gas supply and ventilation" - in 1963 .
The Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems has a rich history and traditions, which allows the team to achieve success in educational, research, sports, and social activities. Teachers and employees of the departments of the institute cooperate with leading companies producing building materials, products and structures, organizations in the field of heat power, heat and gas supply and ventilation, water supply and sanitation, environmental associations, solving joint urgent tasks of the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.
The holiday helped the participants learn a lot of interesting things about the history of the institute, introduced them to the main areas of training for students, their various social activities and became a team-building event that will be remembered by everyone for a long time.
