Students of KSUAE are in the top three of the International Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation (Master level)

On April 1, 2022, the winners of the IV International Student Olympiad in the field of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation (Master level) were awarded at the Southwest State University (city of Kursk).

During two competitive days, the participants solved various test tasks and engineering tasks, and also passed the creative design stage.

According to the results of the competition, three leaders were determined: 1st place – Maria Popova (Southwest State University); 2nd place - Adel Safin (Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering); 3rd place - Amir Gaifullin (Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering).

Congratulations to the students of KSUAE and the head of the group, Doctor of Technical Sciences Arslan Ziganshin!

A training seminar "Fundamentals of Concrete Science" took place at the Technology Center of KSUAE

On March 24-25, 2022, a training seminar "Fundamentals of Concrete Science" was held at the Research and Educational Center "Technology", organized by our Department of technology of building materials, products and structures together with LLC "Poliplast-Kazan" and LLC "Research Institute of Modern Materials and Technologies" (Novomoskovsk).

The seminar was attended by employees of construction industry enterprises - plants for the production of concrete and reinforced concrete of the Republics of Tatarstan, Chuvashia and Mari El. The seminar was held as part of the implementation of the Agreement between the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering and Poliplast-Kazan LLC. The organizers also gave a master class for students of the Department.

A meeting with foreign students was held at KSUAE

Recently a meeting of foreign students with the authorities of our University took place. Vice Rector for education Ilfak Vildanov answered principal questions on education, solving the financial difficulties of foreign students in connection with the current international situation. Among the issues discussed there were accommodation in a hostel and security, stay conditions in Russia, migration and visa registration. 

This academic year, more than 200 foreign students from 28 countries are studying at KSUAE.

General Director of Huawei Tech Company LLC (Eurasia) Li Tianye visited KSUAE

General Director of Huawei Tech Company LLC (Eurasia) Li Tianye (Huawei representative in the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation) , one of the world's largest companies in the field of telecommunications, a leader in the development of smart technologies for life, visited our University. He met with the Rector Rashit Nizamov and got acquainted with the activities of scientific and educational centers and creative spaces of KSUAE.

During the meeting Li Tianye spoke about Huawei's developments in the field of intelligent transport systems, the concept of a smart city and smart home, and a smart campus. Li Tianye highly appreciated the material and technical equipment of the spaces and centers of KSUAE and the modern approach to their implementation, and also expressed his readiness to cooperate with our University in terms of the implementation of digital technologies in the educational and research activities.
