The KSUAE-1 team - bronze medalists of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN 2023!

On June 1, 2023, Moscow hosted the face-to-face final of the Special League "Architecture, Design and Construction" under the auspices of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship, which is part of the "Russia - Land of Opportunities" platform.

The partner of the Special League "Architecture, Design and Construction" was the company "Metropolis" - the leader in architectural and construction design in Russia.

10 teams took part in the full-time finals - the finalists of the qualifying round, including the Team KGASU-1.

The face-to-face final was held at the site of the National Research Technological University MISIS.

The practical part consisted in presenting the solutions proposed by the team, informal communication between experts and participants in the workshop format. The interactive and career zones were organized on the site.

In the evening, the winners were awarded in the concert hall. The KSUAE-1 team became the bronze medalist of the Special League "Architecture, Design and Construction" of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN 2023!

Our international students participated in the Russian language Olympiad 

On 29 May, 2023 the House for Friendship of Peoples of Kazan hosted the RUSSIAN LANGUAGE OLYMPIAD organized among international students of Kazan Universities and professional educational organizations.

The Olympiad consists of two stages: testing and art word.
The first round of the Olympiad is a grammar test to check the general language level.
The second round was the "Artistic Word" competition, where participants read poetic and prose texts in Russian.

After the competition the guys had a tour of the House of Friendship of Peoples, and a small concert with submission of awards and certificates.

In total 46 international students took part in the Olympiad.

Among them there were also 8 students from KSUAE: from Ecuador, Benin, Peru, Libya, Chad, Congo and Tajikistan.

????According to the results of two rounds of the Olympiad, Mirzoshozoda Shokhrukh from Tajikistan, student gr. 2P08, took 3rd award in the nomination "Testing".

KSUAE hosted the panel session "Expanding the use of steel in construction"

On May 24, 2023, in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the road map approved by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the panel session was held at the Scientific and Academic Center of KSUAE "Heritage" "Expanding the scope of steel in construction and improving technical regulation in the field of construction and fire safety of capital construction using steel structures".

The speakers noted the unifying role of KSUAE in consolidating the efforts of government agencies, education, science, and business to address the issues of using steel structures in construction.

The following questions were discussed at the Panel session: accelerating and improving the manufacturability of multi-storey residential construction through the use of a metal frame; effective design of parking lots on a metal frame; advantages of steel and standard solutions; design of social infrastructure facilities on a metal frame; the role of optimal and typical design in steel construction. The session participants made presentations on "Construction of multi-apartment residential buildings on a steel frame"; "Design of social infrastructure facilities on a steel frame"; “On the role of optimal and standard design. Reengineering of investment project evaluation criteria. Model of the theory of interests in the investment cycle”, etc. After the presentattions of all the speakers, the session participants exchanged opinions, asked questions on the issues and reports under discussion, and also made specific proposals to expand the use of steel in construction and improve technical regulation in the field of construction using steel structures.

KSUAE hosted the 17th International scientific conference "Higher and secondary vocational education in Russia: yesterday, today, tomorrow"

On May 23, 2023, the 17th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Higher and Secondary Vocational Education in Russia: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" was held at KSUAE.

The organizing committee of the conference received more than 150 applications and reports from almost 200 authors from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Among the speakers there are 40 doctors, 72 candidates of sciences, 45 graduate students, masters and students from different universities.The collection of conference materials includes reports from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Kursk, Yekaterinburg, Almaty, Yerevan, Minsk, Tashkent, Samarkand and other cities of the countries participating in the conference.

The Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov noted the scale and complexity of the problems in the formation and assertion of the country's technological sovereignty. Here a large role is assigned to the construction industry and its specialists: workers, technicians and engineers. These circumstances require the results of the transformation of the education system, the educational environment of construction universities.

The conference was a success, there was a constructive dialogue between specialists, an exchange of views, a discussion of topical problems in education. Everyone noted the scientific nature and information content of the conference materials. The guests were shown scientific and educational centers and creative spaces of KSUAE.
