WELCOME DAY AT KSUAE on 23rd April, at 12 p.m!

For international applicants!

The Welcome Day is addressed to all international applicants who would like to pursue their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Restoration of Architectural monuments, Architectural Design, Landscape Design, Transport facilities and infrastructure (construction of roads, tunnels, bridges, digital technologies, transport safety and management),

as well as to international applicants who wish to take a preparatory year of the Russian language at our University.

Our Welcome meeting will take place on April 23, at 12 p.m (Sunday), in Kalinina Street, 43

with the Tour along our Campus and the main university facilities exploring Schools and Academic centers, talking about our programmes of study. After the tour the Rector Prof. Rashit Nizamov will welcome all international applicants in Aula Magna. The event is also a good occasion to raise questions about any doubts or curiosities you may have about our University.

The Day will be held in English and Russian languages.

Students of KSUAE are the winners of the II round of the Open International Internet Olympiad: theoretical mechanics - 1st, 2nd, 3rd awards, strength of materials - 1st award!

On April 7-8, 2023, on the basis of the Volga State Technological University, the II round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad was held in the disciplines: "Strength of Materials", "Theoretical Mechanics".

The first round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in the disciplines "Theoretical Mechanics" and "Strength of Materials" was held at KSUAE on March 14 and 16, 2023. The Olympiad was attended by 75 students of KSUAE 1 and 2 courses of different areas of training. The students were offered 15 tasks in theoretical mechanics and 20 tasks in the strength of materials, for the solution of which 180 minutes were allocated.

The final results of the final (III) round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in the disciplines "Strength of Materials", "Theoretical Mechanics" based on the overall international rating will be posted on the website of the Internet Olympiad: olymp.i-exam.ru on April 24-25, 2023.

The tutors of our participants: in the discipline "Theoretical Mechanics" - Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics, Candidate of Technical Sciences Anvar Gumerov, in the discipline "Strength of Materials" - Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Farid Shakirzyanov.

Students of KSUAE are the winners of the International Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation (master's degree)!

From April 6 to April 8, 2023, the final stage of the International Student Olympiad in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation was held on the basis of the South-Western State University (Kursk) (area of study 08.04.01 "Construction").

On the first day of the Olympiad, the participants were given the opportunity to prove themselves in solving theoretical and practical problems. In three hours, the participants were asked to answer 20 test questions and solve 7 diversified complicated tasks from the field of: heating, ventilation, gas supply, boiler units and even knowledge of the basics of economics - calculation of the payback period and net present value when introducing energy-saving measures in heating systems.

On the second day, the participants received an unexpected and interesting creative task: they had to play the role of experts who were approached to evaluate a civil and judicial case. In just 3 hours, the masters had to reasonably answer the questions posed by the jury board and draw a conclusion about the causes and perpetrators of the incidents. This complex task revealed the ability of students to think logically, use normative documentation and operate with professional terms.

Our guys did an excellent job with the tasks and, as a natural result, they took the FIRST AWARD in the team classification, as well as the FIRST and SECOND AWARDS in the individual classification! The winner of the Olympiad was Aigul Gabidullina, a second-year student of the Master's program (65.6 points), and Amir Gaifullin (51 points) took the second award. The third participant from KSUAE, a first-year master's student Timur Karimullin took the high fifth place (37.5 points).

Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov with the visit to KSUAE

On April 7, 2023, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov. As part of the official delegation, the University was also visited by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation A.R. Gatiyatov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation A.V. Yeresko and others.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia got acquainted with the University's research and academic centers: "Roads", "Strength", "Mechanics", "Heat power engineering", "Archiphysics", "Heritage", "Base", "BFFT.space". Rector R.K. Nizamov, vice-rectors, heads of departments, young scientists and students spoke about the scientific, innovative and educational activities of KSUAE, the demand for developments from business partners and their implementation at real facilities and industries.

The Rector Rashit Nizamov noted that the concept of creating international-level scientific and educational centers is aimed at solving a triune task: practice-oriented training of highly qualified specialists, scientific and innovative support for the construction industry and the creation of a creative, comfortable university, urban and business environment.

Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov noted that he really likedthe University's research and academic centers and the experience of their creation should be scaled up in the work of other universities.

For KSUAE, the visit of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation became a landmark event in the life of the team. After all, the University has new projects ahead to create creative spaces on campus for learning, working and comfortable stay at the University. And such important meetings with the leaders of the federal and republican levels allow us to “synchronize watches” on the most pressing issues of education and science in order to choose our development trajectory.
