Such events let the heads of architectural and construction companies attract the best students to their organizations, as well as KSUAE graduates remain working in the industry for the benefit of their native region.

This year, 46 students of various architectural fields have presented their final qualifying works, potential employers from both public and private organizations have participated. The eight-hour event ended with a "feedback" from the guests - many spoke about how pleasantly surprised by the high level of training and professional knowledge of students, about the excellent computer graphics of the presented projects. The guests unanimously recommended that the graduates further develop their creative potential in the profession, going on also with the MSc programmes. As a result of the meeting, 15 people were invited for an employment interview, three - for targeted training in the MSc programmes.

The first graduates-architects of KSUAE met after 50 years (1971-1973)

On June 29, 2022, an epoch-making meeting of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graduations of architects of KSUAE (graduations of 1971-1973) took place at our University. Among this galaxy of the very first graduates are the head of the department of graphic modeling of KSUAE Prokofiev E.I., the head of the department of urban planning and planning of rural settlements Dembich A.A., the professor of the department of urban planning Mamakov N.V., the chief architect of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny Idrisov A. .A., Chief Artist of Naberezhnye Chelnov Rolbin I.Z., Director of Chelnyproekt LLC, Honored Architect of the Russian Federation Nilov V.S., Honored Architect of the Russian Federation Bakulin G.S., Professor of the Moscow Architectural Institute Grubov V.A. and many others.

For the first time, the enrolment to the Architecture course of the KSUAE happened in 1966.

In 1971, the first graduation of 28 professional architects took place. In 1977, the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering was reorganized into the Faculty of Architecture and concentrated its efforts on training only architects. By this time, the faculty was already known among the architectural community of the country as the Kazan School of Architecture.

Surprisingly, more than 50 years have passed since then. Our graduates gathered for a meeting to remember the teachers, their student years, to see each other, to walk along their native corridors, to communicate with those who work at the university today.
