KSUAE among TOP-5 Russian universities in Civil engineering and Architecture

The largest rating agency in Russia with a 20-year history RAEX published a series of subject ratings – 10 lists of leading universities in various areas of training.
According to the rating results, the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering is among the TOP-5 Russian universities in the area of Civil engineering and Architecture.
The building company PERI gave several lectures for our students of the Institute of Civil Engineering

In the period of October 2nd to December 4th, 2020, the building company PERI, leading manufacturer of formwork and tooling for monolithic reinforced concrete, gave several open lectures for students of our Institute of Civil Engineering. The Institute has a long term cooperation with the PERI company. The specialists of the partner company reviewed the trends in the construction industry, introduced them to innovative experience in the design and construction of buildings and structures made of monolithic reinforced concrete using various types of formwork systems.
At the end of the seminars the students were tested. Successful students were awarded by the certificates from the company.
KSUAE hosts Regional WorldSkills Competition in "Architecture"

On December 1, 2020 KSUAE hosts the Regional competition called "Young Professionals", WorldSkills Russia, in "Architecture". The following skills "Interior Design" (in two age categories); "Servicing heavy equipment" and "Architecture" are presented. In addition, KSUAE academic staff takes part in the competition as experts in such skills as: "Interior design", "Architecture", "Furniture production", "Carpentry", etc. The results of the regional championship will be announced on December 5, 2020.

KSUAE academic staff as experts at WorldSkills Russia Regional Championship

In November 2020 Kazan hosted the Regional WorldSkills Championship 2020, in which the academic staff of our Department of Metal Structures and Testing of Structures acted as experts in "Furniture production" and "Carpentry" categories.
The experts carried out a lot of functions: working on the site, controlling of safety measures, assessment of the test task, etc.
Members of the expert team highly appreciated the work of our faculty members and expressed their gratitude.

Our academic staff as part of the delegation of Tatarstan took part in the International Architectural Festival "Zodchestvo 2020" (Moscow)

The festival is organized by the Union of Architects of Russia. The theme of this year's festival is "Eternity", focused on finding and identifying modern trends in architecture and urban planning. Within the framework of the festival, lectures, master classes, round tables are held annually with a discussion of modern architectural trends and problems; presents creative projects of young architects, projects of students of universities and colleges, children's architecture schools, as well as the best projects of Russia.
Our University was represented by the staff of Department of Theory and Practice of Architecture. The stand of our region Tatarstan, which was called "Architecture of Tatarstan through a century", presents the main architectural objects and projects of the Republic of Tatarstan over the past 100 years, collected in an interactive river of time (time-line) for 10 decades.
