Again KSUAE gained the main award in the competition of the degree projects in the area "Construction" in Russia!

On September 29, 2022, a competition of degree final projects 2022 was held at Master level in the specilaty 08.04.01 "Construction" and at BSc level in the specialty 08.05.01 "Construction of unique buildings and structures" for the medal of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences named after N.V. Nikitin.

The competition is organized by the Association of Construction Universities (ACV) together with the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS). This competition is a kind of superfinal, in which not only the best works that take first places in their training profiles particpate, but only those works that have scored the highest points in the overall standings in the enlarged group of areas "Engineering and Construction Technologies". Last time KSUAE also took the first award in the same competition which is held once every three years. According to the rules of the competition, the jury determines only one winner among all the submitted works.

In addition to projects from KSUAE, 10 best projects took part in the competition from different Russian Universities.

This year the project winner is "Development of energy-efficient symmetrical tees to reduce the energy consumption of ventilation systems", author - Guzel Safiullina , supervisor - doctor of technical sciences, professor Ziganshin A.M.

Students and academic staff of KSUAE took part in the Republican forum "Constructive"

Academic staff and students of the University took part in the Republican forum "Constructive", which was dedicated to information, psychological and physical security.

Students remotely participated in lectures on psychological safety. "Constructive" is an educational event with lectures, discussions, a case tournament, open talk and business games, networking and training sessions. Professional speakers in the field of prevention of extremism and the ideology of terrorism spoke at the event. They shared their experience, which will be useful for solving difficult life situations and implementing preventive activities at the university.

Scientists and students of KSUAE took an active part in the International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2022

From September 21 to September 24, 2022, the International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2022 was held at the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Center. The forum was organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main goal of the forum is to form an annual platform for scientific, technical and commercial communication between developers and users of digital transformation technologies, products and services. The events within the framework of the forum are aimed at solving the problems of the country's scientific and technical sovereignty, including the development of domestic software, technological leadership, data protection and the training of highly qualified specialists. More than 11,500 people participated in 143 program events in 10 key thematic areas and 4 partner conferences. 222 organizations and companies took part in the exhibition, held as part of the Kazan Digital Week 2022 International Forum. About 650 speakers made presentations, master classes and discussions.

As part of the stand of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development, an exposition of KSUAE was organized, which presented the implemented projects of the university in the field of digitalization: 1) “Digitalization in the road transport complex” (Vice-Rector for Research, Head of the Department of Roads, Bridges and Tunnels E.A. Vdovin, Head of the Department of Digital Road Technologies L.F. Mavliev); 2) "Digital twin of engineering systems based on BIM-technologies and CFD-modeling (on the example of REC "Systems" of KSUAU)" (Professor of the Department of Heat Power, Gas Supply and Ventilation A.M. Ziganshin); 2) "Scientific and technical support for the restoration, reconstruction, and adaptation of objects of historical and cultural heritage using digital technologies" (Head of the Department of Building Technologies R.A. Ibragimov, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies in Construction A.Kh. Ashrapov, assistant Department of Technologies of Building Production I.Kh. Galiev); 3) "Information technologies in construction" (Director of the Institute of Construction S.V. Stepanov, Head of the Department of Metal Structures and Testing of Structures A.V. Isaev).

The new Academic and Research center "Development" opened at KSUAE

The term development is growth, improvement, etc. Today, this term has firmly entered our lives, and the word development denotes entrepreneurial activity in the field of real estate, associated with the construction of new facilities, the reconstruction and restructuring of existing ones. The new Center appeared on the basis of the Institute of Economics and Construction Industry Management of our University.

There are different sections at the Center: "Investments", "Management", "Expertise", equipped with the relevant equipment, visual stands, developments made in cooperation with business partners.
