On the 7^th of March the worldwide ecological action “Earth Hour”, which is aimed to raise the social awareness of ecological and environmental problems, took place.

Our University also participated in this action: within the time period from 20.30 till 21.30 in several KSUAE buildings electrical light was switched off. A few days before that, the students-ecologists from «Green Light»* gave a lecture about their activities, told about the forthcoming world action and called the students not to stay away from environmental problems. In this way, KSUAE actively supports the world community’s aspiration for resource and energy saving behavior  and protection of the nature.

*«Green Light»

«Green Light» is students’ ecological movement organized on the basis of Chemistry and Engineering Ecology Department of KSUAE. It is member of Russian-wide “Green” universities Association, active member of youth environmental movement “It will be clean”, established under the patronage of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatartsan. «Green Light» activists organize and conduct volunteer events on environmental themes at  KSUAE campus, in the city of Kazan and in the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 25^th of March at KSUAE our international students met the representatives of the regional public youth organization “Students' League of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

The meeting was aimed to present the activities of the International Student Advisory Committee of “Students' Leagueof the Republic of Tatarstan” as well as to discuss further cooperation in terms of International Students Association of KSUAE.

The results of the first (university) stage of the Open International Students’ Internet-Olympiad on resistance of materials are announced. 30 KSUAE students of 2^nd-3^rd years of study participated in the first stage of the Olympiad. 

Three students scored maximum points and passed to the final second stage (inter-university) of the Olympiad. Among them are Danil Eremeev (21 ponts), Sergey Markov (18 points), Daniil Vybornov, Gulnaz Khusaenova (18 points). Anastasiya Bogolyubova.

The results of the first (university) stage of the Open International Students’ Internet Olympiad on theoretical mechanics are announced. 44 KSUAE students of 1st -3rd years of study participated in the first stage of the Olympiad. 

Five students scored maximum points and passed to the final second stage (inter-university) of the Olympiad. Among them are Ilya Glazkov (19 points), Azamat Kamaev (12 points), Daniil Vybornov (11points), Emil Minnekhanov(11points), Anastasiya Bogolyubova (11points).
