KSUAE took part in the Forum “Digital Innopolis Days” - a forum on digital independence in business and education

On October 19-20, 2023, Innopolis University hosted the Forum on digital independence in business and education “Digital Innopolis Days”. This year the forum is being held for the sixth time. The Vice Rector for digital technologies David Kordonchik and students with the academic staff took part in the forum.

The Forum program included a plenary session, a panel session on the implementation of the “Digital Departments” project in 2023”, a round table “Development of the video game and e-sports industry in the Russian Federation”, an open dialogue “How to prepare a sought-after defender? Issues of information security training", youth discussion and round table "Effective teaching methods through the eyes of students", expert discussion "Unobvious application artificial intelligence: effects, risks and barriers." October 20 in the forum program: - Business game from Yandex 360 and Yandex Cloud “Digital solutions for current problems of universities”; - Expert discussion “Figital format in education – the missing link or the usual reality”; - Expert discussion “The impact of educational trends on the digital transformation of universities.”

Representatives of Shandong University (China) with the visit to KSUAE

The Head of the international exchange department of Shandong University (China) and the Head of the Leyee educational organization, Ms. Ge Yumei, paid a friendly visit to KSUAE.

During the visit, Ms. Ge Yumei visited the scientific and educational centers of our University and knew about the areas of training and research activities of the university. The parties discussed issues of academic mobility between universities, attracting Chinese students to study at our programs in the field of “Construction”, at preparatory courses of Russian as a foreign language, as well as the possibility of organizing testing for Chinese schoolchildren in some applied subjects for their further admission.

The guests noted the high level of equipment of research and educational centers and creative spaces, interesting interior solutions and a warm welcome meeting from the University.

KSUAE students are the winners of the “Student Startup” competition of the “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform”

The results of the fourth stage of the “Student Startup” competition within the framework of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform” have been summed up. The winners of the competition included 6 projects of KSUAE students recommended for support in 2024:

- Bikaeva Yulia - “Development of technology for producing innovative facing material based on magnesium raw materials” (H4. New devices and intelligent production technologies);

- Volkov Philip - “Design of new deep pit retention systems” (H7. Creative industries);

- Gulyakov Evgeniy - “High-strength fine-grained concrete based on cements of low water demand, modified with nano-sized additives” (H3. New materials and chemical technologies); - Girfanov Shamil Ravilevich - “VisualSpace” (H7. Creative industries);

- Lim Vladimir - “Evaluation of the effectiveness of using high-modulus polymer composite reinforcement” (H3. New materials and chemical technologies);

- Nikolaeva Elena - “The concept of dynamic objects - small architectural forms for public spaces” (H7. Creative industries).

The grant amount is 1 million rubles.

KSUAE in the jury of the International competition of architectural projects ArchSkilled

KSUAE Associate Professor Alexey Ivantsov took part in the work of the jury of the International competition of architectural projects ArchSkilled

On October 6-7, 2023, the final stage of the International architectural competition ArchSkilled took place in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus.

Aleksey Ivantsov, associate professor of the Department of Architecture at the Institute of Architecture and Design of KSUAE, took part in the work of the jury, the only representative from the Russian Federation.

ArchSkilled is an international competition platform for students of architectural and construction colleges and universities, allowing future specialists to implement interesting ideas and solutions using modern aluminum profile systems and glazing in their coursework and diploma projects.

Participants were asked to develop architectural projects using ALUTECH aluminum profile systems and AGC glass in three categories: — low-rise residential building; — multi-storey residential building; - public building.

KSUAE has developed close cooperation with the organizer of the competition - the ALUTECH group of companies - in the educational field, conducting joint research and testing of roller shutter and facade systems.

Where to go to study? — more than 500 guests visited KSUAE on its Welcome Open Day

Sunday, October 8, 2023, brought together more than 500 guests to the Welcome Day at KSUAE. The University was visited by high school and graduate school students, their parents. They wanted to get to know the university, its scientific and educational sites, learn more about the areas of training, the rules of admission to the university and, of course, ask questions.The guests came from Kazan, cities and regions of Tatarstan, neighboring republics and even remote corners of Russia.

Directors of the institutes, heads of centers and departments introduced the guests to the equipment of the centers, laboratory equipment and technology, and also spoke about innovative developments in architecture, construction, road transport, areas of training and answered questions.

The official part of the Day was held in the assembly hall of the University. The Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rashit Nizamov greeted the guests and perspective students, talked about the University and noted the importance of choosing a university and profession in a person’s life.
