KSUAE took part in the international campaign "Victory Dictation"

On April 25, 2025, students and teachers of KSUAE took part in the international historical dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War. "Victory Dictation" is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

At the KSUAE, in the multifunctional center "Forum", the Victory Dictation was written by more than 100 KSUAE students, foreign students, and university teachers. Before the start of the dictation, the participants watched the broadcast from the central museum of the Great Patriotic War in Moscow. The broadcast took place from Kursk, Donetsk, other Russian cities, and from a spaceship.

For the first time, the anthem of the Victory Dictation "To Know in Order to Remember" was played. The head of the Department of History and Philosophy, Professor S.I. Nikonova, who spoke about the significance of the event, the role of historical knowledge about the Great Patriotic War in the context of modern challenges, as well as the significance of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in May 1945 for the fates of millions of people, civilization as a whole. The dictation questions were not easy. In general, all the questions were aimed at strengthening the historical memory of a significant period in the history of Russia. There were questions linking the events of the Great Patriotic War and the North-Eastern Military District, since the battles took place and are taking place practically on the same territory. Questions about the personalities of the participants in the events, about works of art dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War aroused interest.

The organizers of the event were the Department of Youth Policy and Social Work, the Department of History and Philosophy, and the student volunteer center of KSUAE.
