The team of KSUAE students, bronze medalists of the CASE-IN championship, got acquainted with the future employer - the Metropolis company

A team of our students, having won bronze medals at the International Engineering Championship "CASE-IN" of the presidential platform "Russia - a Land of Opportunities", received an invitation to undergo an internship at the Metropolis company, and after the internship - to join the team of the largest architectural and construction company companies in Russia.

Metropolis Open Days are held in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg. In Kazan, 16 students of specialized universities got acquainted with the industry of architectural and construction design, among them were bronze medalists of the special league "Architecture, design and construction":

Maxim Pavlov, Vera Nepryakhina, Kamilla Valnikova, Ivan Stepanov, Maxim Rupasov, Alexander Balobanov, Alexei Loktev and Albina Yakupova. The development of a real project at the CASE-IN championship helped the team "KGASU - 1" to advance in the profession. “We have designed a hotel in Kaliningrad, modern and relevant to the existing development, and a master plan,” team captain Maxim Pavlov shared his impressions.

Success in the championship was a step in building a career: the whole team is waiting for a paid internship at Metropolis: future specialists will get acquainted with the design stages, find out what tasks are solved by different specialists, what tools they use, how they interact with related departments, who manages the project and how.

“We have about 15 specialties in the field of architectural and construction design, we explained to students what specializations they can develop in our company,” Olga Lyubartseva said.

“The open day brought a lot of positive emotions, - student of KSUAE Maxim Rupasov shared his impressions. “We are grateful for the opportunity to become part of the company and hope to improve our skills in modern BIM modeling programs and gain experience in working in a large team.”

“The goal of the CASE-IN championship is to unite future specialists and potential employers on one platform,” says Artem Korolev, founder and co-chairman of the CASE-IN organizing committee. “We are constantly expanding the industry range of the Student League of the Championship and intend to develop a special league “Architecture, design and construction” so that new talented qualified specialists come to the industry.”

The autonomous non-profit organization "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" was established on May 22, 2018. The mission of the platform is to create the future of Russia by opening up equal opportunities for everyone. The platform helps every person, regardless of where he lives, what profession he chose and what family he grew up in, to get opportunities for his development.

The CASE-IN International Engineering Championship is an international system of competitions for solving engineering cases among schoolchildren, students and young professionals in the fuel and energy and mineral and raw materials sectors.
