KSUAE academics took part in the V open championship in concrete technology as jury members
Academics of the Department of Technology of Building Materials, Products and Structures (TSMIK) Oleg Khokhryakov and Nina Morozova took part in the V open championship in concrete technology as members of the jury. The championship was held among heads of construction laboratories and technical specialists. The organizer was the company "Poliplast-Kazan".
The practical part of the championship was held in the format of a group competition between participants who had to optimize the compositions of heavy cement concretes according to technical and economic indicators. In the theoretical part of the championship, participants answered test tasks on modern regulatory and technical documentation, properties of raw materials, technology of molding and laying concrete mixtures, quality control of concrete and reinforced concrete products.
The KSUAE Department of TSMIK successfully cooperates with the company "Polyplast-Kazan" in many relevant areas: this includes joint seminars, conferences, and fruitful cooperation between the university staff and the organization, and the involvement of teachers in expert work.
