Two thousand first-year students celebrated the Day of Knowledge at KSUAE
On September 1, 2026, the new academic year began for KSUAE first-year students and the entire university community with a ceremonial assembly at the main square near the fountain. The celebration opened with the ceremonial raising of the state flags of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, accompanied by the playing of their respective national anthems.
University Rector R.K. Nizamov—Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor—addressed the first-year students with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the students on the Day of Knowledge, commended their wise choice and successful admission to one of Russia’s top universities, and wished them a rewarding student life, academic excellence, and new experiences and friendships. Distinguished guests at the Day of Knowledge celebration also congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year, encouraged them to be purposeful and hardworking, and highlighted the importance and high demand for skilled professionals in the architecture and construction industry.Rector R.K. Nizamov ceremoniously presented the first-year students with a symbolic "key to knowledge" and their student ID cards.
We congratulate all first-year students on their successful admission to KSUAE! We wish the KSUAE community—faculty and students alike—continued achievements and victories, the successful realization of our shared hopes and plans, and a spirit of determination and diligence! Following the opening ceremony, institute directors held organizational meetings for first-year students and conducted campus tours that included visits to the university’s research and educational centers. In the evening, the "KGASU.fest" celebration took place on the campus grounds.
