KSUAE hosted Session "Digital Technologies in Building Engineering Systems" as part of the REBUS-2025 forum

On August 19, 2025, the session titled "Digital Technologies in Building Engineering Systems: Collaboration between the University and IT Developer" was held at KSUAE as part of the REBUS-2025 forum. The session focused on the synergy between academic science and industry in the digitalization of building engineering systems.

Participants discussed current developments at universities and research institutes based on digital modeling, as well as practical experiences in integrating design tools (BIM/CIM) into educational programs. Particular attention will be paid to innovative solutions for managing campus engineering systems, including digital twin functionality for monitoring and optimizing network performance. Experts also analyzed the applied aspects of using information modeling in design, from automated calculations to reducing operational risks. The key goal of the session is to establish a dialogue between IT product developers and the scientific community to create effective solutions for the future.

Among the participants there was the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Construction Services, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (PRC) Angui Li.
