The project of KSUAE Associate Professor R.Kh. Mukhametrakhimov "3D Printing Method with a Long Technological Break" is the winner of the"Innovation of the Year" competition
On February 21, 2025, the winners of the republican competition "Innovation of the Year" were honored at the board meeting of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The awards were presented to the winners by the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Kolesnikov and Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The organizers of the competition are the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organizing committee of the competition is headed by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov.
The main goals of the competition are the introduction of innovative technologies in the economy of the region, the development of knowledge-intensive production, and increasing the competitiveness of technology companies. This year, the Innovation of the Year competition underwent a transformation: the experts' attention was focused on ready-made solutions - prototypes and projects with business potential. The emphasis was placed on applied developments, which made it possible to improve the quality of applications and select the most promising initiatives. Experts noted that the in-person stage of the competition showed that many projects have the potential to participate in the programs of the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund, including acceleration and support for startups.
A total of 514 applications were made for the competition. The startups were evaluated by professionals from the scientific, educational and business communities of Tatarstan.
In the nomination "Intellectual Property", one of the winners was the project "Method of 3D printing with a long technological break" by Associate Professor of the Department of Construction Production Technologies of KSUAE Mukhametrakhimov Rustem . The project is aimed at eliminating cold joints during breaks in laying layers. The product increases the flexibility of the technological process, improves the strength of the structures being erected and reduces the labor intensity of the process, which ultimately leads to a decrease in the cost of construction.
