15 students from the KSUAE headquarters of student teams take part in the construction of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant in Cairo (Egypt)

On July 4, 2024, the opening of the international student construction team “Dune” took place at the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant construction site in Cairo. Participants in the labor project were 64 students from Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Leningrad, Omsk, Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Kaluga, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Sverdlovsk regions, Perm Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Among them are 15 KSUAE students from the headquarters of student teams. For two months, the guys will work in the quality control departments of construction and installation works, the directorate for production and construction support, mechanization and many other departments.

“An important part of joint work with the state corporation Rosatom is international cooperation. Thanks to this, participants in the student movement have the opportunity to work on projects in Turkey, Bangladesh, Egypt, India and Hungary. There is a lot of competition for these projects, and senior students studying in related specialties and having experience working as part of student teams receive an advantage in the selection process,” commented Mikhail Kiselyov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, Chairman of the Board of Russian Student Teams.

The international project in Egypt has been implemented since 2022, then 9 people as part of student teams became its participants, this year the project attracted a record number of participants.

Students will be employed in the joint-stock company "CONCERN TITAN-2" as technicians. The guys will be engaged in carrying out production tasks in 13 divisions. The project will last until August 31.
