Our students took II award at the XI International Architectural Drawing Competition
18 architectural, civil engineering and architectural and art schools took part in the International Architectural Drawing Competition, which was held at the Ural State Academy of Arts and Sciences from November 21 to November 24, 2023. 350 student drawings were submitted to the competition.
The Competition nominations: • Drawing from life (architectural ensemble, architectural structure or its fragment, interior, drawing of the urban environment). • Drawing based on representation (bird's eye perspective, zenith perspective, interior drawing, historical reconstruction). • Drawing from imagination (spatial-geometric compositions of urban space or architectural ensemble according to one’s own design; architectural fantasy). • Drawing for the project. • Educational drawing (still life, figure, plaster casts, head). • Graphic interpretation of modern architecture (use of various techniques and materials, printmaking, collage). • Architectural poster and type composition.
The Department of Graphic Modeling of KSUAE presented 32 drawings, 21 drawings were awarded:
• Diplomas of I, II, III degrees from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation - 18 drawings;
• Diplomas of the Union of Architects – 1 drawing;
• Diplomas of the Union of Artists – 3 drawings
In total, the Department of Graphic Modeling of KSUAE took second place at the XI International Architectural Drawing Competition.
