KSUAE and Berdakh Karakalpak State University discussed prospective cooperation
A delegation from the Berdakh Karakalpak State University (Republic of Uzbekistan) visited the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KSUAE). The delegation included D.K. Zhumamuratov, Head of the Academic and Methodological Department, and I.M. Sulaymanov, Head of the Registrar’s Office (Academic Department). The primary objective of the visit was to study KSUAE’s best practices in organizing the educational process, developing academic and methodological resources, and managing academic administration.
The guests took a particular interest in the modern approaches to managing educational activities and training highly qualified professionals that are successfully implemented at the university. The visit program was both intensive and productive.
Representatives from the Karakalpak university toured KSUAE’s research and educational centers and laboratories, gaining insight into their facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, they met with students, sharing their own teaching experiences—specifically regarding the delivery of the course "Water Supply and Sanitation" at their home institution.
During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. Potential areas for collaboration were identified, including academic exchanges for students and faculty, as well as the organization of joint internships and professional development programs. To facilitate the practical implementation of these agreements, a memorandum of intent is set to be signed.
The guests spoke highly of the level of development of KSUAE’s research and educational infrastructure. The university’s modern facilities and equipment left a strong impression on the delegation, inspiring them to develop similar resources and adopt these best practices at their own institution.
