KSUAE scientists participated at the 3DMIX conference "Additive Technologies in Construction"

The Third International 3DMIX Conference "Additive Technologies in Construction" was held at the National Research University of Civil Engineering (NRU MGSU) in Moscow, bringing together over 200 participants from leading Russian construction universities, research institutes, and engineering companies. The event was organized by NRU MGSU, the Association of Additive Construction Professionals, and the Association of Construction Printer Manufacturers. The conference addressed issues of construction robotics, regulatory and technical support for the industry, practical experience with the use of construction 3D printing for recreational facilities and low-rise construction, and staffing for additive construction production. A key topic of discussion was the development of new state standards in the field of additive technologies.

KSUAE scientists are actively involved in this work, confirming the university's status as a leading research center in this field. Representatives of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering participated in the conference and presented a joint paper on "Studying the Properties of Dispersed-Reinforced Concrete Mixtures and Concrete in 3D Printing Technology." Rustem Khanifovich Mukhametrakhimov, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Additive Construction Technologies, and Professor of the Department of Construction Technologies at KSUAE, and Liliya Valiyevna Ziganshina, Candidate of Engineering Sciences and Senior Researcher of the Department of Construction Technologies at KSUAE, participated in the conference. These studies are part of Liliya Valiyevna's broader research work related to the development of concrete mix formulations and the improvement of 3D printing technology.

The work of KSUAE scientists under the supervision of R.Kh. Mukhametrakhimova's requirements have already been reflected in amendments to SP 70.13330.2012 "SNiP 3.03.01-87 Load-bearing and Enclosing Structures" (approved by Order No. 902/pr of the Russian Ministry of Construction dated December 11, 2023). With the introduction of these amendments, the country's regulatory framework defines, for the first time, requirements for the acceptance of concrete and reinforced concrete structures of buildings and structures manufactured using additive manufacturing technology.
