This holiday is included in the list of memorable dates in Russia and is celebrated annually on January 25th. The holiday's history and traditions date back to the 18th century. On January 25th (January 12th, Old Style), 1755, Empress Elizabeth, supporting the initiative of Count Ivan Shuvalov and Mikhail Lomonosov, signed the decree "On the Establishment of Moscow University."
Being a student is wonderful! You are young, healthy, beautiful, active, and have a whole life ahead of you, full of new discoveries, successes, and victories. It is during your student years that you gain unforgettable impressions, make lifelong friends, make long-term plans, and are full of strength and energy for everything new and interesting.
