KSUAE foreign students among winners of the All-Russian Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language
Congratulations to the international students of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering – participants and winners of the All-Russian Student Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language:
- Boujdid Shakra (Morocco), a first-year student at the Institute of Architecture and Design, took II place among all international participants.
- First-year students Blal Mohamed (Mauritania), a student at the Institute of Construction, and Kaku Charles Emmanuel (Côte d'Ivoire), a student at the Institute of Architecture and Design, also achieved impressive results.
The Olympiad brought together a large number of international students from non-CIS countries, studying in their first and second years at various Russian universities. The Olympiad was held remotely in a single round. The tasks were aimed at assessing the student's level of Russian-language proficiency for academic purposes (levels B1–C1). The Olympiad program included highly challenging tasks on grammar, vocabulary, objectives, tasks, and the specific features and patterns of text structure, sentence structure, and punctuation in Russian for academic purposes. The winners and runners-up were determined based on the best scores on the competition tasks. Following the Olympiad, the winners were awarded diplomas. Each student who participated in the Olympiad received a Participation Certificate.
