Master's theses were presented at the KSUAE Department of construction materials

At the Department of Technology of Building Materials, Products and Structures were held presentations of final qualification works of master's degree students majoring in "Construction" in the profile "Innovative Materials, Products and Structures in Construction".

The works presented by the committee cover a wide range of production and application of various building materials, products and structures. Particular attention was paid to the development of compositions and modification of epoxy polymers, cement binders, dry mixes, organomineral additives, autoclaved aerated concrete, fine-grained self-compacting concrete, etc. Technologies for designing translucent structures, manufacturing small architectural forms, installation of wall and roof sandwich panels were presented.

The following research papers were of particular interest to the attestation commission: 1. "Rheology of water-mineral dispersed systems" — K.O. Nesterova (supervisor — professor V.G. Khozin). New experimental dependences of shear stress on shear rate and viscosity on shear rate were obtained for powders and water-mineral dispersions based on various finely ground cements and functionalized carbonate fillers. 2. "Physicochemical modification of epoxy polymers with ultrafine and nanosized additives" — D.M. Valieva (supervisor — professor L.A. Abdrakhmanova). New highly dispersed fillers were proposed for creating epoxy composites with two-stage curing. It was established that the nature of nanoadditives and their dispersion determine the degree of conversion and the supramolecular structure of nanocomposites.

This year, the Department graduated 30 masters, which emphasizes the relevance of the training direction and interest in the profile "Innovative materials, products and structures in construction".

The most interesting graduation works, which contained high practical value for the Republic of Tatarstan and passed pilot tests, were the following: 1. "Low water demand cements using carbonate rocks of the Kamaevskoye deposit of the Republic of Tatarstan" - D.N. Akhmetova (supervisor - professor Khokhryakov O.V.). Based on the results of the work, an experimental section of a concrete road was laid based on these binders, which is an access section to an industrial enterprise located in the village of Pospelovo (Republic of Tatarstan, Yelabuga district). The length of the road section is 140 meters. It is planned to carry trucks with a maximum axle load of more than 10 tons. 2. "Dry masonry mixes for the construction of stone structures by a mechanized method" - I.E. Panushin ((supervised by Professor O.V. Khokhryakov). A new 3D nozzle made of wear-resistant plastic has been developed, which allows to significantly speed up the construction of masonry and, in general, minimize manual labor. At the same time, an effective composition of a dry building mixture for the preparation of masonry mortar with improved technological and physical-mechanical properties has been proposed. Thanks to the new mechanized method, 70 linear meters of brickwork were successfully laid, for which a positive conclusion was received.

Members of the state examination committee noted the high level of training of graduates, scientific novelty and practical significance of qualification works.

We congratulate our graduates on their successful defense and wish them professional achievements!
