KSUAE took part in the conference "Reconstruction and restoration of architectural heritage"

On March 25-28, 2025, the head of the KSUAE Department of Reconstruction, Restoration of Architectural Heritage and the Fundamentals of Architecture, Doctor of Architecture, Professor H.G. Nadyrova and Associate Professor of the Department A.T. Karimova took part in the V National (All-Russian) Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Reconstruction and Restoration of Architectural Heritage". The conference was held at the St. Petersburg University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The conference was organized into sections:

Section 1. Preservation and restoration of cultural heritage sites - buildings and structures. Historical schools of restoration. Section 2. Monumental art in architecture and urban planning.

Section 3. Engineering aspects of restoration and adaptation for modern use of cultural heritage sites - architectural monuments.

Section 4. Experience of practical restoration and modern materials. Professor Nadyrova Khanifa Gabidullovna presented a report entitled “Architectural elements and details of buildings as objects of research and preservation of the identity of the development of the Old Tatar settlement of Kazan.”

Albina Karimova devoted her presentation to the topic of the dissertation research "Experience of research and restoration of buildings of the complex "Kazan military hospital".

In addition to specialists in the field of training personnel in the field of architectural restoration, the conference was attended by specialists in the field of architectural restoration (architects-restorers, technologists, designers, engineers), representatives of government agencies in the field of protection of historical and cultural heritage, non-profit organizations involved in the protection of historical heritage, and manufacturers of restoration materials.
