KSUAE hosted the IV All-Russian Conference of Young Researchers “Historical Memory and Modern Science”

On November 28-29, 2024, the IV All-Russian (with international participation) scientific and practical conference of young researchers "Historical Memory and Modern Science: Problems, Discussions, New Views" was held at KSUAE.

More than 40 researchers from Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Donetsk, Pskov and other cities, as well as foreign students, submitted applications for participation. The conference was attended by students and young researchers from different Russian Universities.

At the plenary session, the participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Research E.A. Vdovin, who noted the relevance of the research presented at the conference, the importance of being able to resist attempts to falsify national history, the need to preserve the historical memory of the people in the modern world.

The conference summed up the results of the Regional Open Competition of Student Research Papers "Heritage-2024", which included more than 50 works by students, school and college students in the following nominations: "Creative Project" and "Scientific Project". E.A. Vdovin awarded the winners of the competition with diplomas, noting the merits of each work.

In the sections: "Historical Memory in the Context of a Modern Worldview"; "The Problem of Preserving Collective Historical Memory in the Modern World"; "Resources of Historical Memory against Attempts to Falsify History" young researchers presented interesting reports devoted to current issues of modern history, problems of preserving historical memory in the modern world, the need to resist attempts to falsify national history.

The best reports are recommended for publication in the SI “Humanities in the 21st Century: Scientific Internet Journal.
