KSUAE, Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan and Satbayev University (Kazakhstan) agreed on cooperation

On February 6, 2023, at the University academic and research Center "Technology", at the initiative of the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, a trilateral meeting was held dedicated to multidisciplinary cooperation within the Technology Platform of the Eurasian Economic Commission between KSUAE, the Institute of Architecture and Construction T.K. Basenov (Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty) and the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan (Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan) with the involvement of the industrial company STEINBLOCK LLC (Nab. Chelny), engaged in the production of technological equipment for construction industry enterprises (plants of aerated concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete products).

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department "Construction and building materials" of the Kazakh National Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences D.A. Akhmetov made a presentation of a ready-mixed self-compacting concrete (SCC) plant project, developed entirely on Kazakh raw materials.

The meeting participants discussed the development of joint degree programme on Master level, Technology of construction materials and structures (TSMIK) between KSUAE and Satbayev University, which is to be developed on the basis of two curricula of both departments. The first experience of such cooperation in the preparation of bachelors at the KSUAE Department of TSMIK already exists - with the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Republic of Uzbekistan). The parties - KSUAE and Satbayer University - agreed to start work on the implementation of this proposal.

The president of the Industrial Cluster S.V. Mayorov proposed to conclude an agreement between the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan and KSUAE (represented by the Department of TSMIK) in order to implement scientific developments in the production of building materials of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the framework of cooperation with the Institute of Architecture and Construction T.K. Basenov, representatives of the partner university were shown the academic and research centers of KSUAE, demonstrated the material and technical, laboratory base, innovative developments of the team of university scientists.
