Open Day at KSUAE brought together over 600 future applicants and their parents

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, KSUAE held an Open Day, which was attended by more than 600 future applicants and their parents. The university was visited by senior and graduating school students, their relatives, who wanted to get to know the university better, its scientific and educational sites, learn more about the areas of training, the rules for admission to the university and, of course, ask questions of interest. Guests came from Kazan, cities and regions of Tatarstan, neighboring republics and even remote corners of Russia.

The organizers prepared a rich program for the guests with a tour of scientific and educational centers, an introduction to the areas of training, a student concert program, a quiz from the admissions committee and the official part in the assembly hall. For the participants of the meeting, excursions were organized around the university campus, scientific and educational centers and creative sites.

Directors of institutes, heads of departments introduced the guests to the equipment of the centers, laboratory equipment and technology, and also talked about innovative developments in architecture, construction, road transport, areas of training at the institutes of KSUAE, answered questions. The official part of the Open Day was held in the assembly hall of KSUAE.

KSUAE took part in the international campaign "Victory Dictation"

On April 25, 2025, students and teachers of KSUAE took part in the international historical dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War. "Victory Dictation" is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

At the KSUAE, in the multifunctional center "Forum", the Victory Dictation was written by more than 100 KSUAE students, foreign students, and university teachers. Before the start of the dictation, the participants watched the broadcast from the central museum of the Great Patriotic War in Moscow. The broadcast took place from Kursk, Donetsk, other Russian cities, and from a spaceship.

For the first time, the anthem of the Victory Dictation "To Know in Order to Remember" was played. The head of the Department of History and Philosophy, Professor S.I. Nikonova, who spoke about the significance of the event, the role of historical knowledge about the Great Patriotic War in the context of modern challenges, as well as the significance of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in May 1945 for the fates of millions of people, civilization as a whole. The dictation questions were not easy. In general, all the questions were aimed at strengthening the historical memory of a significant period in the history of Russia. There were questions linking the events of the Great Patriotic War and the North-Eastern Military District, since the battles took place and are taking place practically on the same territory. Questions about the personalities of the participants in the events, about works of art dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War aroused interest.

The organizers of the event were the Department of Youth Policy and Social Work, the Department of History and Philosophy, and the student volunteer center of KSUAE.

KSUAE students took part in the TransAI-2025 Conference

On April 24, 2025, students of the Department of Digital Road Technologies of the Institute of Transport Constructions of KSUAE took part in the TransAI-2025 conference “Artificial Intelligence in the Transport Industry” online. The conference was held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow.

The organizer was the Telematics concern, a leader in Russia in the market of IT systems based on artificial intelligence for the transport industry.

The program included a discussion of the achievements and future of artificial intelligence, its impact on the transport industry and society as a whole. Participants talked about key AI technologies for the next 10 years, the consequences of AI development on the labor market, and the likelihood of a machine uprising. Speakers included: Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin, CEO of the Telematics concern Alexey Nashchekin, CEO of the AIRI Institute of Artificial Intelligence Ivan Oseledets, and others.

KSUAE students in materials science are the best in Russia!

On April 22-23, 2025, the final stage of the All-Russian Student Olympiad in the profile "Production and Application of Building Materials, Products and Structures" was held at the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Following the results of the Olympiad, we can say that our students in materials science are the best in Russia!
