Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov with the visit to KSUAE

On April 7, 2023, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov. As part of the official delegation, the University was also visited by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation A.R. Gatiyatov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation A.V. Yeresko and others.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia got acquainted with the University's research and academic centers: "Roads", "Strength", "Mechanics", "Heat power engineering", "Archiphysics", "Heritage", "Base", "BFFT.space". Rector R.K. Nizamov, vice-rectors, heads of departments, young scientists and students spoke about the scientific, innovative and educational activities of KSUAE, the demand for developments from business partners and their implementation at real facilities and industries.

The Rector Rashit Nizamov noted that the concept of creating international-level scientific and educational centers is aimed at solving a triune task: practice-oriented training of highly qualified specialists, scientific and innovative support for the construction industry and the creation of a creative, comfortable university, urban and business environment.

Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov noted that he really likedthe University's research and academic centers and the experience of their creation should be scaled up in the work of other universities.

For KSUAE, the visit of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation became a landmark event in the life of the team. After all, the University has new projects ahead to create creative spaces on campus for learning, working and comfortable stay at the University. And such important meetings with the leaders of the federal and republican levels allow us to “synchronize watches” on the most pressing issues of education and science in order to choose our development trajectory.

The regional stage of the championship "Professionals" of the Republic of Tatarstan on information modeling technologies came to the end at KSUAE

On April 7, 2023, the regional stage of the Professional Skills Championship "Professionals" of the Republic of Tatarstan 2023 in the competence of "BIM Information Modeling Technologies" came to the end at KSUAE.

This year, our university has become a platform to organize the Championship in 6 nominations and, as the organizers note, it is held on a large scale both in terms of the number of competencies and the number of participants and experts.

The championship began with the BIM Information Modeling Technology competency, the participants are 2 teams from Alabuga-Polytech and 1 team from the Nizhnekamsk Agro-Industrial College. The participants of the Championship spent the last week at KSUAE at the site of the "Digital" Research and Education Center, completed tasks and presented their projects. The best ones advanced to the next stage (both Alabuga-Polytech teams), where they will fight for a place in the final, then the All-Russian final and, possibly, the international level.

The Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems of KSUAE organized a holiday for students and academic staff

In the hall of the KSUAE, a holiday was organized by the directorate of the Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems and the Student Council. The activists offered the participants a large cultural and entertainment program with competitions, prizes, music. Those who wished could play table tennis, compete for the title of the strongest arm wrestler of the Institute, etc.

The organizers organized their holiday for the date of the formation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, which was created as part of the Kazan Civil Engineering Institute on April 1, 1958.

In the new version, as the Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems, a structural unit of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering was created on September 1, 2014 as a result of the merger of two faculties: the Faculty of Construction and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology. The history of the Institite originated much earlier, with the beginning of the training of specialists in water supply and sewerage as part of the Kazan Institute of Municipal Construction Engineers, established in 1930. The Faculty of Sanitary Engineering was formed in the same 1930 and before the start of the Great Patriotic War trained 25 engineers in the specialty "Water supply and sewerage". Already in the post-war years, new specialties appeared in the faculty: "Production of concrete and reinforced concrete products and materials" - the first admission took place on August 26, 1953, "Water supply and sewerage" - in 1961 training was resumed, "Heat and gas supply and ventilation" - in 1963 .

The Institute of Building Technology, Engineering and Ecology Systems has a rich history and traditions, which allows the team to achieve success in educational, research, sports, and social activities. Teachers and employees of the departments of the institute cooperate with leading companies producing building materials, products and structures, organizations in the field of heat power, heat and gas supply and ventilation, water supply and sanitation, environmental associations, solving joint urgent tasks of the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.

The holiday helped the participants learn a lot of interesting things about the history of the institute, introduced them to the main areas of training for students, their various social activities and became a team-building event that will be remembered by everyone for a long time.

KSUAE hosted the participants of the round table within the IX International Conference "Gas Transportation Systems: Present and Future"

One of the key events of the IX International Scientific and Technical Conference "Gas Transportation Systems: Present and Future" (GTS-2023) was held on April 6, 2023 at the Scientific and Educational Center of the KSUAE "Heat Power Engineering".

KSUAE hosted a panel session on the topic "Trenchless methods of pipeline construction". The problems of the industry in this area were discussed by the directors, heads of production departments of the organizations-producers of work, the president of the International Association of Horizontal Directional Drilling Specialists, the head and specialists of the corporate scientific and technical center for corrosion monitoring of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC. KSUAE was represented by the head of the department of heat power engineering, gas supply and ventilation R.G. Safiullin. During the discussion of the presented reports, interesting solutions and effects were noted that can be used in further work and introduced into the construction practice of PJSC Gazprom.
