The Chief Architect of Kazan city visits our University

Mrs Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the Chief Architect of Kazan, paid a visit to our University. The chief architect of Kazan got acquainted with draft designs for 2 new academic centers to be built at our University: Urban Planning Center (academic building No. 3) and Restoration Center "Miras-Heritage" (academic building No. 4), and also the design of the Center for wooden creativity "Agach" on one of the city streets.

After the official part of the meeting she met with our students. There was an interesting interaction with the students of the architecture department, many questions on architecture issues, graduation projects and future career of the students.The Chief Architect got acquainted also with the project proposals of students for the transformation of territories in Kazan with great interest, and expressed her readiness to discuss issues related to the development of the city. All meeting participants agreed to have such regular discussions on joint research projects and realization of student graduation projects.

KSUAE among TOP-5 Russian universities in Civil engineering and Architecture

The largest rating agency in Russia with a 20-year history RAEX published a series of subject ratings – 10 lists of leading universities in various areas of training.

According to the rating results, the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering is among the TOP-5 Russian universities in the area of Civil engineering and Architecture.

The building company PERI gave several lectures for our students of the Institute of Civil Engineering

In the period of October 2nd to December 4th, 2020, the building company PERI, leading manufacturer of formwork and tooling for monolithic reinforced concrete, gave several open lectures for students of our Institute of Civil Engineering. The Institute has a long term cooperation with the PERI company.  The specialists of the partner company reviewed the trends in the construction industry, introduced them to innovative experience in the design and construction of buildings and structures made of monolithic reinforced concrete using various types of formwork systems.

At the end of the seminars the students were tested. Successful students were awarded by the certificates from the company.
