KSUAE organized the panel session “Energy efficiency and energy saving in the construction industry”

On April 4, 2024, at the Kazan Expo exhibition center, as part of the Tatarstan International Forum on Energy and Energy Resource Efficiency “TEF-2024” program, KSUAE organized the panel session “Energy efficiency and energy saving in the construction industry: from a digital model to a real object.”

The session was organized by the KSUAE Department of Heat Power Engineering, Gas Supply and Ventilation together with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the session, they discussed the developments of universities and research institutes in the field of energy efficiency of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, heat supply of construction sites; innovative designs of heating and ventilation equipment from manufacturing companies; current issues of thermophysics of building envelopes; digitalization tasks in the field of increasing energy efficiency and energy saving in the construction industry.

The meeting was opened by the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan L.R. Abzalilova. She noted that Kazan and Tatarstan are large consumers of energy resources, and state policy in the field of energy saving and increasing the energy efficiency of the construction industry and municipal services is being actively implemented here.

Moderator of the event, KSUAE Vice-Rector for Research E.A. Vdovin pointed out the importance of practice-oriented research in the field of energy and resource efficiency for the university, and noted the mutual interest in broad cooperation between production workers and KSUAE.

At the meeting, it was possible to meaningfully discuss the difficulties that arise during the implementation of projects at the stages of transition from a digital model to a real object.

KSUAE Reports showed a very high level of work performed and great prospects for applying developments in the construction industry and heat and power engineering.
