International Students of the KSUAE Russian language course with the visit to the largest National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan Kremlin
Our international students learn and practice Russian language not only being in the class but also outside the University, during cultural excursions.
In the Museum the students from Algeria, Turkey, Tunisia, Yemen, Mauritania, Ecuador, Cameroon got acquainted about the main milestones of Tatarstan and Kazan history, from antiquity to the present through exhibitions about significant events and the fate of people, the socio-political, socio-economic, cultural life; achievements and traditions of the multinational people.
They saw different interesting exhibits: ancient accessories, historical coins, jewelry, clothes, armor and weapons, even the full-size Empress Catherine's carriage and many others.
The students learnt many new Russian words, including names of historical exhibits and practiced their vocabulary got during 2, 5 months of Russian language classes.
After the Museum the group had a tour around the Kazan Kremlin, the main city sightseeing.
All participants of the excursion enjoyed such an exciting lesson.
Such cultural visits are included in the course programme, within the section «Regional studies».
The tour was organized by the University International Department and the course teachers.
