Rich history of architectural shape and construction development of our Kazan city and the Republic of Tatarstan is reflected in our University museum. The museum exposition introduces the history of civil engineering education in Kazan starting from the Industrial college (in 1890-s) till nowadays and it is dedicated to the outstanding architects, University professors, graduates who have made significant contributions to the construction industry and architectural art in Kazan and Republic of Tatarstan. They are our proud and part of KSUAE’s history. Here you can find hard copies and copies of historical documents, photographs which show the establishment of the University and its recent activities.

Nowadays the Museum is a unique cultural centre of the University. Over the past 25 years, it has been full of events: commemorative anniversary meetings with the University veterans and alumni; poetry evenings, philosophical debates, chamber concerts, book presentations and exhibitions, excursions, thematic events and seminars on current architectural and construction issues.

The opening of the Museum was preceded by a long and dedicated effort to assemble collection of documents, historical materials and items of the pre-war and post-war periods. The idea of our Museum was born in 1969, during the 50th anniversary of the Kazan Higher School of Civil Engineering.

The opening ceremony of our University Museum took place on September 27, 1996, during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University.
