The summary of the KSUAE conference "Problems of Production and Application of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete"

On November 25, 2025, KSUAE hosted a scientific and practical conference "Problems of Production and Application of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete", organized by the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering and the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The conference demonstrated the high educational and scientific potential of our university, represented by the Department of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete, and its relevance to the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and manufacturers of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. Many conference participants, including graduates specializing in engineering, are successfully working in companies and are striving to implement the scientific developments of the Department of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete: for example, low-water-demand cements and concretes based on them at TatCement LLC, self-compacting concrete (SCC) at CSS LLC, and others.

KISI-KSUAE graduates expressed their admiration for the new look of our university and especially its new content – the research and educational centers that have transformed KSUAE into a model construction university in Russia. Such specialized scientific and practical conferences, held at our university's venues and attended by representatives of the construction industry, are of great importance for enhancing KSUACE's reputation in the Volga region, expanding and strengthening cooperation with construction companies to train engineering personnel and implement scientific research results in production.

The majority of presentations—12 out of 15—were given by industry representatives and addressed the challenges and solutions to current technical issues in the production of concrete, reinforced concrete, and its components. The conference was attended by approximately 200 participants—managers and representatives of plants producing building materials, monolithic concrete mixes, chemical modifiers for concrete, concrete and reinforced concrete products, designers and engineers, and manufacturers of process equipment for concrete production and composite rebar.
