25/11/2025KSUAE hosted the conference "Problems of Production and Application of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete"
On November 25, 2025, the opening of the conference "Problems of Production and Application of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete" took place in the assembly hall of KSUAE. The event was organized by Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering and the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The conference will feature presentations by leading experts in the construction materials industry, the construction industry, and KSUAE scientists on the following topics: - Training of engineering personnel (technologists); - Innovative materials and technologies; - Manufacturing of process equipment; - Labeling of construction products.
The conference is attended by representatives of plants producing building materials, monolithic concrete mixes, chemical modifiers for concrete, concrete and reinforced concrete products, designers and engineers, and manufacturers of process equipment for concrete production and composite rebar. Participants come from a wide range of locations, including Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Bugulma, Tolyatti, Zelenodolsk, Vysokogorsk, Laishevsky, Mamadyshsky, Yutazinsky, Yelabuga, Mendeleyevsky, Leninogorsk, Chistopolsky, Alekseevsky, Buinsky, Apastovsky, Aktanyshsky, and Aksubaevsky districts, as well as the neighboring republics of Udmurtia, Chuvashia, and Mari El.
At the plenary session, I.S. Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan and President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, and O.V. Modina, Head of the Construction Technologies Department of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented a report on "Cement Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Production in the Republic of Tatarstan."
V.G. Khozin, Doctor of Engineering Sciences and Professor of the Department of Construction Materials, Products, and Structures at KSUAE, spoke about the experience of the graduate department under his leadership in training personnel and developing research areas. O.V. Khokhryakov, Doctor of Engineering Sciences and Professor of the Department of Construction Materials, Products, and Structures at KSUAE, presented a report on "Low Water Demand Cements (LWDC) and Concretes Based on Them".
Many other reports were presented from the participants.
