Students of the KSUAE Institute of Economics and Management immersed themselves in the world of Pasternak at the international conference

On October 22, 2025, students from the KSUAE Institute of Economics and Management in Construction participated in the plenary session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Third Pasternak Readings." The event, organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, was dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian poet, novelist, translator, and Nobel Prize laureate Boris Leonidovich Pasternak. The conference brought together leading Russian and international Pasternak scholars for a comprehensive study of the writer's literary legacy.
The presentations focused on the Chistopol period of B.L. Pasternak's life and work (1941–1943)—a time when, during evacuation, he translated Shakespeare, created significant poetry cycles, and began work on his famous novel, Doctor Zhivago.
Attending such a large-scale academic forum provided our students with a unique opportunity to learn about current research in the field of Pasternak studies, immerse themselves in the intellectual atmosphere, and engage personally with renowned experts in the humanities. The event not only enriched their knowledge of 20th-century Russian literature but also vividly demonstrated the connection between the architectural and engineering environment and deep cultural and historical contexts, which is especially valuable for future professionals.
