KSUAE hosted another meeting of foreign students in the speaking club "Let's speak Russian"
The speaking club "Let's speak Russian" for foreign students of KSUAE continues its activities. The goal of the club is the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students of KSUAE in the educational environment, improving their interaction with Russian students, as well as increasing interest in the Russian language and overcoming the language barrier.
On April 10, 2025, the next meeting of the club was held, in which foreign students of KSUAE from Ecuador, Turkey, Peru, Mauritania, Madagascar, Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Ghana, Tunisia, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, including students of the preparatory course of the Russian language, as well as their teachers took part. In addition, a group of Russian first-year students of the Institute of Construction of KSUAE took an active part in the event.
At the beginning of the meeting, Russian and foreign students got acquainted and communicated in pairs. Russian students prepared presentations about Kazan and Tatarstan, cultural traditions, attractions and national cuisine. Based on these presentations, the foreign students played an exciting quiz game, dividing into teams and answering questions.
Another topic for communication was the discussion of the diversity of gestures in different countries of the world and Russia. Foreign participants of the meeting shared the features of gestures used in their country, and also played a silent game in teams to guess the objects or animals by facial expressions and gestures. Everyone quickly got involved in the game, which turned out to be funny and entertaining.
The program of the meeting contributed to the creation of a friendly atmosphere and enrichment of cultural horizons. Foreign students actively used their Russian speaking skills, overcoming the language barrier and expanding their vocabulary.
The conversation club "Let's speak Russian" is glad to have new members and invites all interested foreign students, as well as Russian students, to join the club.
