KSUAE RESEARCH 2023
The formation of an international-level campus is successfully continuing at KSUAE. 18 scientific and educational centers, sites and spaces of international level have already been created, the best in their field in terms of equipment in the Russian Federation, in which practice-oriented education is implemented at all levels of training, which really makes it possible to combine scientific research and an innovative educational environment, to attract masters and graduate students to real work.
In 2023, new scientific and educational centers “Digital Roads”, “Security”, “Development” were created at our University. At the beginning of 2024 the scientific and educational center “Potoki” was inaugurated.
On the basis of scientific schools, the scientific and educational centers, KSUAE scientists, within the framework of instructions from government bodies, economic agreements and government contracts in the interests of business, are carrying out Research activities that is relevant for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, the results of which are being implemented in real construction production today:
- by order of FLAMAX LLC (Moscow), the development of new design solutions for the construction of reservoirs of the Flamax company;
- Testing models of nodal connections of building structures as part of the development of a methodology for the design and calculation of structures and products made from pultruded profiles commissioned by Yumatex JSC of the State Corporation Rosatom;
- by order of JSC Russian Railways, development of design solutions for a prefabricated passenger platform made of fiberglass pultruded profiles;
- by order of PJSC Tatneft, scientific and technical support for the construction and reconstruction of industrial, social and infrastructure facilities - secondary school No. 1 named after M.K. Tagirov, educational and laboratory building “B” of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education AGNI, the bridge over the cascade of ponds on the street Lenin (Almetyevsk); verification calculations of structures during reconstruction of objects; Ski complex "Yan" (Potashnaya Polyana settlement, Almetyevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan), Central Sports Complex (Almetyevsk), etc.;
- by order of TN Biotechnological Park LLC, PJSC Tatneft, the development of an optimal formulation of arbolite products, laboratory control of materials, products and structures during the construction of the Malgabush social and cultural center (Aznakaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan) using new 3D technology;
- by order of KAZ im. S.P. Gorbunov - a branch of Tupolev PJSC, carrying out designer's supervision as part of the major repairs of the roof during the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the final assembly shop of Tu214SUS aircraft;
- Within the framework of the instructions of Rais RT R.N. Minnikhanov pilot-industrial testing of road structures based on processed and modified local mineral materials and industrial waste (experimental site in the Alekseevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan (through the efforts of Alekseevskdorstroy OJSC); introduction of the Biplast additive (together with Altea LLC) for crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete mixtures for the repair of the Naberezhnye Chelny – Zainsk – Almetyevsk highway) (by Tatneftedor LLC);
- under a contract with the State Public Institution “Glavtatdortrans”, assessment of the quality of road construction materials for the regional network of highways of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- by order of United Operator LLC (Moscow), the design of intelligent transport systems on the M-12 expressway “Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan”;
- within the framework of the Agreement with the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, development of a concept for sustainable development of the territory of the historical settlement of Chistopol on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan
- within the framework of the municipal contract, development of new stages of the master plan of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny;
- by order of KAMAZ PJSC, the development of a master plan for the development of the territory of the technopark of innovative technologies “TECHNOCITY” in Naberezhnye Chelny;
- by order of KFU, the development of a project for the redevelopment of the cultural heritage site “KFU Library”, 1837 (Kremlevskaya St., 18), designer’s supervision of the implementation of work to preserve the cultural heritage site “Chelyshev House”, 1856 (Kazan, st. Kremlevskaya, 25), inspection of building structures of the cultural heritage site “Dyeing and finishing factory with gallery”, 1860 (Kazan, Gladilova St., 53).
KSUAE, on behalf of the Federal Center for Standardization and Regulation (FAU FSC), contracts with JSC UMATEX, Rosatom State Corporation carries out R&D of the highest level on the creation and revision of Federal Standards (GOSTs and SP):
- developed GOST R 70762-2023 “External reinforcement with composite materials. Methods of accelerated tests for creep of adhesive joints of structural reinforcement elements";
- PNST (preliminary national standard) “Cements of low water demand” is being developed jointly with the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Institute of Standardization”;
- the development of new composite materials for additive technological processes in construction is underway with the introduction of amendments No. 6 to SP 70.13330.2011 “SNiP 3.03.01-87 Load-bearing and enclosing structures”, where for the first time requirements for concrete and reinforced concrete structures manufactured by 3D printing will appear;
- GOST R is being developed “Method for the accelerated determination of partial reliability coefficients for the design and calculation of structures and products made from pultruded profiles”.
The effectiveness of the architectural scientific school of KSUAE is confirmed by the achievements achieved in 2023-2024 and victory at prestigious competitions in the USA, Vietnam, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, where KSASU almost exclusively represents our country in the international student competition space:
- AIA Phoenix Metro Design Ideas (USA), more than 120 participants from Canada, Germany, USA;
- Adaptive Reuse: Design Transformations for Community Healthcare (Taiwan), 70 applications from China, Canada, Germany, USA, UAE, India, Mexico;
- Radical Innovation Awards (USA), more than 70 participants from various architectural schools around the world;
- Hanoi Ad Hoc: (Re) Thinking the modern dream of Recent past (Vietnam) 435 participants;
- NUWAO International Symposium on Nature-based Urban Climate Adaptation for Wellbeing (New Zealand) more than 100 participants;
- architectural competition of the Nisshin Kogyo company (Japan) more than 400 participants;
- Dokdo Guesthouse Design (South Korea) more than 100 participants.
Four scientific projects of KSUAE became winners of grant competitions of the Russian Science Foundation and a competition of youth scientific grants and awards of the Republic of Tatarstan (organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan).
KSAUE students and graduates actively participate in the “Student Startup” competition of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform”. In 2023, 20 KSASU projects became winners of the competition. In terms of efficiency, KSASU is among the top five universities in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2023, 6 scientific conferences were held at KSUAE, incl. with publications in highly rated scientific and technical journals.
The university has received 43 patents for inventions and utility models, and filed 62 patent applications.
In 2023, a new Dissertation Council 24.2.309.02 was opened in KSUAE for scientific specialties 5.10.3. Types of art (technical aesthetics and design) and 2.1.11. Theory and history of architecture, restoration and reconstruction of historical and architectural heritage.
In 2023, 4 new electronic scientific journals began to be published in the areas of scientific activity of the university, included in the RSCI database. The magazine “Izvestia KGASU/KSUAE News” confirmed the highest category K1 from the list of the Higher Attestation Commission.
